Hello! I am a 29 years old classical pianist with a Master's degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag. I have taught Piano (and also Music Education) since 2016, to both children and adults. Hallo, mein Name ist Pia und ich bin Flötistin :) Ich habe mit 8 Jahren angefangen, Flöte zu lernen, es hat mir sofort gefallen und so habe ich nach der Musikschule mein Studium am Konservatorium in Maribor (Slowenien) fortgesetzt, danach habe ich an der Kunst Universität Graz studiert und 2024 habe ich meinen Bachelor an der Gustav Mahler Privatuniversität in Klagenfurt abgeschlossen. Dort habe ich einen Abschluss in Konzertfach und einen Abschluss in Instrumentalpädagogik gemacht. Während meines Studiums absolvierte ich auch einen Spezialisierungskurs in Alter Musik mit dem Hauptfach Traversflöte. Daher biete ich auch Unterricht für Anfänger auf diesem schönen Barockinstrument an. Während meines Studiums hatte ich einige Privatschüler, mit denen ich die Klänge der Flöte und verschiedene Genres (Klassik, Pop, Jazz, Volksmusik, Improvisation usw.) erkundet habe. The oboe is an exquisite choice to begin your journey in music, especially if you're interested in wind instruments. We are the most featured instrument in orchestral solos, and have an incredibly beautiful solo repertoire, especially from the Baroque period. I have been teaching in various foundations and high schools since 2020, and am in the Netherlands now for my Masters degree. Since 2021 I have been a private bass tutor, teaching face to face and online. I can help you build a strong foundation for any musical genre. Most of my students pursue bass as a hobby or a creative outlet, writing songs or performing in bands. I have also helped players prepare for Trinity Rock & Pop or GCSE exams. I provide written notes and video material and can help you organize your practice time. I set aside 30 minutes of prep time per lesson, which can also be used to transcribe and film tutorials for songs of your choice. My teaching approach is inspired by Paul Harris’ “Simultaneous Learning” and Phyllis Young’s “Playing the String Game”. I combine games and natural instinct to help my students understand playing the cello without overly-complicated instructions. With 4 years of experience, I’m confident in taking on both young and adult students, from beginners all the way to diploma level, guiding their journey throughout.
