Music is the basic essence of all emotions and expressions. By learning it, we can admire and understand its beauty and enormity. My objective is to share the knowledge in Carnatic music that I have gained over all these years with the same passion that I learned it with. My teaching techniques involve discussing theories, understanding ragam, talam, and its built, and appreciation of Carnatic, light and film music creations. I would teach and encourage my students to listen to the previously created music and discuss its intricacies. You can learn from the basics to the advanced level along with vocal exercises and breathing exercises required for the music practice. You can get trained to perform in open-stage concerts and competitions as well.

I have taught classes at all levels and I am always excited by the progress of my students. I am currently a teacher at the Institute of Performing Arts in Madrid. I have experience with students at both beginner, basic and advanced levels. I also teach formal and non-regulated classes. I prepare entrance exams at both professional and advanced levels, with success so far with all the students I have had and who have taken them, and I always adapt to the needs of each person or profile. I also have experience teaching music theory and music theory at all four levels of musical language.

Composing your own music has always been a very rewarding task. This has never been so true as the present day when you can hear what you compose instantly by using computers to generate and play back your own music. However, to ensure that your music sounds really great there are many principles to be considered. I have had a great interest in composing for over 40 years, composing in a wide variety of styles. Having been a music teacher in a comprehensive school for over 30 years, I have had a lot of very relevant experience in teaching composition to a wide range of different ages and abilities. The class will be personalized to your particular standard and chosen style of composition. If you are a complete novice and have not used computers to create music we can use a web-based programme or a free downloadable programme. On the other hand, if you are familiar with a particular programme that you have installed on your computer we can work through screen sharing and sound sharing to enhance your compositions using my experience. I will tailor-make the class to suit you.

Hello! I am a 29 years old classical pianist with a Master's degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag. I have taught Piano (and also Music Education) since 2016, to both children and adults. Folk or classical acoustic guitar. The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation. For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...). For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (...). Since 2015 I have been a private guitar tutor, teaching face to face and online. I cover a broad range of genres and have helped players build a strong foundation for anything from pop to metal. Most of my students pursue guitar as a hobby or a creative outlet, writing songs or performing in bands. I have also helped players prepare for Trinity Rock & Pop or GCSE exams. I provide written notes and video material and can help you organize your practice time. I set aside 30 minutes of prep time per lesson, which can also be used to transcribe and film tutorials for songs of your choice. The Tecla y Música Workshop is a space designed to learn and develop your musical and expressive sense through the piano and / or keyboards. The main objective is to learn to make music and enjoy the learning process and its results. The material with which we work (songs, instrumental pieces and exercises) is mainly oriented to your musical taste, and the choice is based on gradually expanding your technical and expressive possibilities, while exploring different musical styles. In this way, different tools are being incorporated to achieve, in a short term, mastery and fluency over the musical language and the instrument. Given that each student has different interests and concerns, whether playing as a hobby or developing a professional career, composing, improvising, etc., the orientation of the classes is built according to the possibilities and particular needs of each case. The work proposal implies a weekly class frequency to achieve optimal work dynamics and that the results are visible in a short term. There is also the possibility of taking isolated classes in order to solve a specific objective such as developing and perfecting some particular aspect of music practice and / or theory as well as preparing instrument exams or theoretical subjects for institutions of musical studies.
