I am a French historical and modern horn player based in The Hague. I have played the Horn since I was 4 years old and I have two Master's degrees in modern horn and natural horn. I offer you lessons on modern and historical instruments, as well as music theory. I work with all ages, all levels, and all objectives, and I can even work with other brass. If you want to discover the instrument or perfect it, if you need theory support or practice help, I will adapt my methods to your needs to offer you quality musical time! I have taught children and adults since 2017, and I truly love leading people their way to enjoyable, musical, and informed brass playing. My lessons include warmups, technique, working on pieces of various repertoire, playing in duo with me, and more. Hello! I am a Spanish trumpet player residing in Cologne. I started playing the French horn when I was 6 years old and I studied my bachelor's degree in Madrid and my master's degree in Amsterdam. I offer lessons on modern and historical horn (baroque horn or natural horn). No matter what your level, age or expectations, I am a flexible teacher with experience teaching people of all ages, levels, musical preferences and backgrounds. Lessons will be adapted to the student's progress, circumstances and requirements. English and German speaking music teacher with many years of experience from beginner to tertiary level. My youngest student was four years of age but I also enjoy teaching adults. With piano lessons, we do a combination of note reading, music theory, improvising and with horn lessons we work on breathing and other technical aspects of brass playing. I would be very happy to help to prepare horn students for Hochschule entrance exams as well. I believe that one of the most important aspects of being a teacher is developing my students’ confidence as well as developing their ability to step out of their comfort zone. Therefore my students have always been encouraged to sit for exams and perform in concerts, competitions and music festivals. It has been wonderful to see the success my students have gained through these events; however the best thing has been to see how their confidence has improved as a result.

During my Bachelor's training in Classical Horn I have trained in different educational skills techniques as well as in teaching ensembles and basic conducting. I've been researching and developing the physics of the brass instruments during last years and giving high range improvement classes. I can help you with your range no matter your age or level, but it's mandatory you play most of the days of the week. We can improve your range (low and high), flexibilty and endurance.

My activities reflect my passions in diverse musical styles including various settings from big band, symphonic music to contemporary, folk music and all things African. A bit about me: I have 2 Bachelor's degrees from the Portuguese National Orchestra Academy (Lisbon) and The Royal Conservatory of the Hague, and a Master's from the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar (Germany). I have played with orchestras in Germany, the Netherlands and Portugal, including Rotterdam Philharmonic, Staatskapelle Weimar, Staatskapelle Halle, Phion, Noord Nederlands Orkest and many others. Since 2017, I am a member of the Amsterdam-based, Intercontinental Ensemble. We perform concerts regularly throughout the Netherland and have released 3 CDs.
