ENGLISH-SPEAKING PIANO TUTOR I teach adults of all levels! I often mentor people who are just starting out, helping them develop their interest in the instrument and play the music they love. A lot of students come in with anxiety about how good or fast they're going to be able to learn. I work to build a respectful, supportive environment where you feel comfortable developing and learning at your own pace. For intermediate and advanced students, I teach with a particular focus on fundamental technique through études, and developing musicality. Oftentimes, as hobbyists, we have holes from our early studies that prevent us from developing later in life. My aim is to help correct that. You should leave with renewed confidence to tackle pieces that have intimidated or eluded you in the past. I hope to teach you soon!

I have been teaching piano for over 20 years now. I trained at the Royal College of Music after winning a junior scholarship, where I spent 8 years studying piano, cello, music theory and choral music. My aim is for my students to enjoy the rewards and challenges of learning by making lessons fun and accessible. Each lesson is tailored to the individual needs of my students. I teach ABRSM grades and all styles of music from complete beginner to advanced level.

I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I give private piano lessons for all levels and styles (classical, jazz, Latin, new age, pop...), as well as music theory, composition and improvisation lessons. My lessons are distinguished by their dynamics, practical approach and adaptation to the needs and interests of the student. The lessons (live or online) take place in my studio next to the Maastunnel, where I have a premium stage piano and a top-quality webcam setup. In that case the lessons will include contents of piano technique, score reading, applied harmony on the keyboard, composition, improvisation, musical arrangement, music production, recording techniques, jazz and pop music analysis and performance. Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician. Pianist and musicologist, I have been teaching piano in all styles (classical, jazz, film and popular music) to students of all ages for almost 20 years.
