I’m at your service! I'm offering private cello lessons to new students of all ages and skill levels in English, German or Hungarian languages. I emphasize fun and ease in my approach, listening to the body and tailoring the learning material to your personal goals and musical interest. I mainly teach at my place in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin, but I can also go to yours based on individual arrangement. I offer violin lessons to students of all levels, from absolute beginners to more experienced musicians. Cello is not just an orchestral or chamber music instrument! Learn modern styles and techniques of playing cello, whilst also building a strong traditional technique. This is a good class for students who already have some music training and wish to expand their knowledge into performative or production areas - such a using loopstation, sound design on the cello, finding your 'voice' as an artist. Or simply for those who wish to explore music outside of traditional genres - learn how cello is used in genres such as electronic music, pop music or rock!

I provide private and/or Skype cello lessons for students of all ages and levels in the Berlin, Germany area. I teach in English, Spanish, Portuguese and a bit of German. I teach primarily the classical style of cello playing, but with these basic tools students can learn to play any style of music they wish on the cello.

I would also be happy to work with you on a structured practice plan with techniques and helpful tools that is optimally tailored to your needs and helps you to integrate making music into your life. This class is for composers, songwriters, arrangers, music producers or anyone who makes music in any way AND wants to understand more of the background about why things work the way they do. In this masterclass, we will look at a range of topics such as chords and scales, how to improvise, reharmonization, structure and much more to enable you to create music with confidence and the knowledge that helps many musicians around the globe work more efficiently.

Whether you're looking to improve your overall musicianship as an already-seasoned musician or learn the basics, I am ready to work with you! As an active composer, performer, and music educator with a Master's Degree, I have years of teaching experience with various ages and levels. Theory topics can range from counterpoint, form and analysis, triads, harmonization, figured bass, 12-tone analysis, to introduction to note-reading, patterns, and more. We'll examine various repertoire from the Baroque through the music of today. Ear-Training instruction can include a mixture of sight-singing, rhythm exercises, melodic/harmonic dictation, chord recognition, and more. Composition lessons will be centered around developing and expanding your compositional voice, with special attention to form, theatricality, expression, and understanding of instruments. Your lessons will be designed to fit your personal level and goals! I bring 15 years of composition experience, 14 years piano study, and 13 years of intensive vocal training to my work as a theory, ear-training, and composition educator.

Hello there! My name is Tamir. I am an Israeli cellist living in Berlin, and for the past years I have been performing in various renowned festival such as Yellow Barn, Lumières d’Europa and Geneva International Academy while pursuing my bachelors degree under the guidance of Prof. Frans Helmerson. Throughout the years, I have always been fascinated with the art of teaching. Through my main mentor, Prof. Zvi Plesser (The Julliard School), I learned more then just cello playing. I learned the value of persistence, search for beauty and expression. I have had the fortune of working and performing with todays most prominent musicians such as Daniel Barenboim, Krzysztof Chorzelski (Belcea Quartet), Donald Weilerstein and Gary Hoffman. Now, after finishing my studies, I am eager to share my knowledge with you! In this course you will learn how to compose for images exploring different genres of music (orchestral, electronic, pop and underground music), deepening the softwares and tools for recording, editing, mixing your tracks. What you will learn: - How to record, edit, and mix live instruments and MIDI in Ableton Live / Cubase - How to create custom sounds using a synthesizer and how to integrate those custom sounds for your musical compositions - How to add effects to your vocals and tracks - How to compose for images: Film, Documentary, Video Game, Trailer and Advertising

Focusing on the development of own unique voice I will plan a specific program for each student in order to bring him to the next level. After studying in my youth with bass guitar innovators Matthew Garrison, Dominique Di Piazza, Skuli Sverrisson, at Berklee College of Music and privately with Jazz theory and Improvisation guru Hal Crook and after almost 20 years of playing professionally all around the world with amazing people I ́ve accumulated tons of invaluable lessons ready to be shared with my students.

Teaches Piano, Double Bass, Electric Bass I have a Music degree from the Conservatory of Music and Drama DIT and four years experience teaching piano and double bass in classical and jazz, conducting youth orchestras and teaching music theory and composition.I am a member of ESTA Ireland. My lessons are tailored for ever person, with a focus is on developing a love for the art, particularly with younger students.
