Hey! My name is Seán, and I am an Irish singer-songwriter based in London with 2 years of teaching experience. I teach a range of disciplines, including piano, guitar, vocals, songwriting, and music theory. Having taught students of all ages and different levels of musicianship, I am pleased to say that I have built long-lasting relationships with many of my students. With an emphasis on creativity and student input; my lessons allow students to discover their own playing style and musical direction. I strongly believe that people learn best when they enjoy what they’re doing, and I incorporate this into my teaching style. I strongly encourage my students to bring their own ideas and suggestions to the lessons; that way they can learn a piece of music that they really like. With a background in classical music, I underpin my lessons with useful technical exercises that encourage dexterity, time-keeping and fluency. Finally, I encourage all my students to learn at least the fundamentals of music theory and sight reading. Striking a healthy balance between diligent exercises, music theory and fun musical expression, my lessons allow students to explore their musicality on all fronts. Hi! I'm an experienced clarinettist and teacher with a first-class honours degree from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where I won the college's concerto and chamber music competitions. I also achieved A* and A grades in GCSE and A-Level Music respectively. - I have recently started my master's degree as a dual scholar at the Royal College of Music in London. - I have a full enhanced DBS certificate which can be supplied upon request. - I teach Mon-Wed, often afternoons/evenings but am fairly flexible (and ask the same of my students due to my hectic schedule!) - I am a relaxed, experienced, enthusiastic and patient teacher and try to make each lesson different, fun and enjoyable! -I would be happy to help you to learn music as a complete beginner or strengthen your abilities as an advanced player as a practice partner or a primary tutor. - I like to focus on building a solid foundation of playing with my students, which will help them excel in their musical lives. - I am a heavy believer that constant reassurance and appraisal is crucial in the early stages of learning any instrument, alongside fun and memorable exercises and games. - I have experience teaching to school-age children through outreach visits in Cardiff and London, alongside volunteering at RWCMD juniors department and working with RCM Sparks. - I love teaching and sharing my passion for music. Isaac :) About Isaac: Originally from a small village in Northamptonshire, Isaac is a Clarinettist currently based in London. He made his solo debut in St. David’s Hall, Cardiff performing Mozart’s Concerto For Basset Clarinet, after winning the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama Concerto Competition 2021. In the past year, Isaac has received Masterclasses from world-leading musicians such as Yehuda Gilad, Laura Ruiz Ferreres, Matthew Hunt, Carlos Ferriera and Harri Mäki. His recent festival highlights include performances with Maya Iwabuchi and Robin Green at the Hellensmusic Festival, taking part in Amsterdam and Främnas Masterclasses with Arno Piters and Herman Stefansson respectively, and the Voksenåsen Sommerakademi with Bjorn Nyman and Andreas Sundén. In 2020, Isaac was invited to take part in the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival in Lübeck, which was unfortunately postponed due to the pandemic. Isaac has performed recently as guest principal, sub-principal and bass clarinet with London Mozart Players, Neville Holt Opera, English Symphony Orchestra, London Firebird Orchestra and UK Tours with The Music Agency. He has performed in concerts and masterclasses under the conductors such as Sir Andrew Davis, Maxim Vengerov, Hannu Lintu, Jac van Steen, George Jackson and Leif Segerstam. Isaac graduated first-class honours from RWCMD in 2021 under the tutelage of the previous and current heads of woodwind Nick Carpenter and Rob Plane, respectively. Alongside winning the college Concerto Competition, Isaac also won the RWCMD Woodwind + Chamber Music Prize and auditions for side-by-side schemes with BBC National Orchestra of Wales and Welsh National Opera. Also a passionate arranger, Isaac has recently had his work performed at Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO) Young Creatives Projects, Durham University Big Band Charity Events, Dynamica Brass Academy, RWCMD Repertory by Entrepreneurial Performers Company (REPCo) and the Ormonde Ensemble, a wind quintet of which Isaac is a member. Isaac is currently furthering his studies with a Masters in Performance at the Royal College of Music, London, studying with Barnaby Robson, Richard Hosford and Tim Lines. He is the gracious recipient of scholarships from the HR Taylor Charitable Trust and Charlotte Fraser Foundation. He is also the 2022/23 holder of the Countess of Munster Trust Neil Black Award. Isaac is extremely grateful for their support as without it, his studies would not be possible.

With over a decade of professional experience as a teacher, copyist/arranger, performer & composer, I can teach you or your child Music Theory in a bitesize, friendly way. This class would be ideal for those who are: - studying for any theory exams with ABRSM or Rockschool/Trinity, from Grade 1 all the way up to Grade 8. - applying to a college/university degree programme where they might need to brush up on their theory knowledge or qualification - an enthusiastic or gifted musician in practice, who wants to contextualise and bolster their general understanding with the 'whys'/'hows' of music, and not just the 'whats'.

Born on 11th June 1984 in Northern Iran in a city called Bandar-e-Anzali and raised in an educated family , Faraz started his musical education at the age of 18 at a local music institution as he just attended translation studies B.A course in Rasht Azad University. To achieve more comprehensive skills in violin-viola performance and teaching he later in 2007 continued his learning procedure in Capital Tehran where he first met Dr Setare Beheshti faculty member of University of Tehran, School of Fine Arts. Being under her instructions he got introduced to Suzuki School of Violin and simultaneously started to teach violin to several kids in different cities of province Guilan through Suzuki Method. Since 2007 he has been teaching 40 to 70 students each week planning their music career in orchestras and string ensembles. He has also conducted several student violin recitals and introduced more than 10 students each year through those recitals. In 2009 he enrolled BA course in Iranian music performance at The University of Guilan , school of Architecture and Art and graduated in 2014 . His final thesis was in two part; one was an article about a comparison between the styles of violin playing in Iranian classical music , and the other was performing 4 of his composition and arrangements for a mixed fusion ensemble. At the autumn of 2014 he entered MA course in Ethnomusicology at University of Arts , School of Music, and has been graduated on 2017. In 2012 he and four of his graduated colleagues have founded Guilan Chamber Orchestra mostly from the teenage students which has performed 3 independent concerts in different genres . He arranged two folk and Iranian classical song for the Orchestra performed in 2014. He composed an Album called "The Impression on the Wall" in Iranian Orchestral style published in 2011 and have won the third prize in provincial productions' festival about a year later. In 2010 he composed his first film soundtrack for a fictional documentary movie called " He owns a Factory near the Town". He had been teaching in several private music academies meeting around 60 student a week developing his teaching career every day. He is now studying Master of Music Education at Royal College of Music in London.

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I give private piano lessons for all levels and styles (classical, jazz, Latin, new age, pop...), as well as music theory, composition and improvisation lessons. Welcome to my online Piano Class. I will happily help you achieve your musical goals, from the basic fundamentals of piano playing (reading music, positioning your hands on the keys) to building a wonderful sound and technique, allowing you to play anything you wish, from simple melodies to the renown classical piano repertoire of any era. The 30 mins lesson option is just for the new students, so we can meet, discuss, see what you need (level, scores, etc) and, of, course, start to play! I respect every student, I listen to any concerns and I am always happy and creative in helping everyone to get into music. My greatest happiness is to watch my students overcome any limit or freight and expand in full potential! On Sept 1st 2024 three of my awarded students were invited to perform at The DiMenna Classical Center of Music in Manhattan! Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else.
