Hello! My name is George and I'm a fourth year student in jazz guitar at the Codarts conservatory here in Rotterdam, though my guitar journey began at the age of nine. I have been teaching a variety of students of different ages and backgrounds for the passed two years. My aim as a teacher is not to overwhelm students with theory and sight-reading. Instead, I prefer to teach you practical ways to develop your own musical interests. If you are beginner struggling to achieve clear,clean notes or play a full song in tempo I can show you the most effective way to achieve rapid results. If you are passed the beginner stage I can help you with my specialised knowledge in jazz, pop, blues and rock. If you are compitent up to a certain level but can't move out of your comfort zone I can help you move onwards and upwards.

If you are a complete beginner we'll be starting with different finger exercises, music theory and will be discovering different genere's of music as well. The ultimate goal will be to make you able to play your favourite songs without being dependent on internet for the notes. Music Theory, Staff Notation, Ear training, Improvisation are some of the topics we will be expolring We can also follow Trinity College London or Rockschool syllabus. Even if you're a advanced player with few years of experience and feels stuck I am going to show you the secret that you need to know to grow as a player to achieve new level of musicianship

Once you get the hang of the fundamentals, you get to tell me which songs you want to learn during our lessons to expand your skills and become more proficient, and I will teach you how to read and play your favorite songs like a master! I teach vocal technique through body awareness. We’ll dive into the essential principles of singing: breath, resonance, and articulation. We’ll start with some breathing exercises to get warmed up, followed by vocal exercises to work on technique, and then you’ll get to sing a song of your choice. We’ll also bust some common myths about singing, and you’ll be amazed at how much you can learn in such a short time! It’s going to be a lot of fun!
