Fine art and illustration classes to help you progress

This class will prepare students for practical and written examinations related to the field of Drama and Theatre Arts (this may include but is not limited to; GCSE Drama, A-Level Drama, GCSE English language or Literature, BTEC courses, Degree level courses related to theatre and performance). After an initial session to discuss the curriculum content and the outcomes the student hopes to achieve for their particular exam or performance, each session will be tailored to the individual students needs. In the past five years I have obtained my Degree and Master's Degree in the field of contemporary theatre practices as well as working with a small company to produce and tour innovative new performances. I have an extensive skills-base spanning contemporary devised theatre, classical texts, producing, academic writing and much more. I aim to make these classes fun and informative; allowing students to reach their potential academically whilst aiding them in becoming forward-thinking creative individuals. I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen. I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist. I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns. In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on. You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns. Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.

If you are stuck with a design project, be it a house, a public building, a landscape, or even a piece of the city, I am here to help! I have three years of experience in teaching at the university level, and I am always keen to work with you on the conceptual, artistic, and technical dimensions of your design projects no matter the scale. I can also work with you to acquire foundational design skills and prepare you for future studies. Together we will touch upon: 1- The design process and tools. (e.g. conceptualizing, sketching, modelling, contextualizing, mapping, diagramming) 2- Aesthetic and practical considerations (e.g. expression, quality, human perception, climate, sustainability) 3- The spatial experience and how to materialize it (e.g. space and structure, flow and movement, materiality, detailing) 4- the modes of architectural drawing and visualization (e.g. plans, sections, elevations, axonometrics, perspectives, collages, layouts) 5- Relevant softwares (e.g. AutoCAD, Rhino3D, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

This combination of art and English class will help children explore their creative ability and, at the same time, gain new language skills. We can discuss any medium you want your child to explore and I will create a suitable lesson for each class. Tailored classes with interesting artistic topics will provide extra motivation for students and encourage them to remember various information from the class. During this class, you will be guided on how to develop ideas into tangible objects which then aids you in communicating your dreams, imaginations and visions. The class also empowers you to be daring in your approaches through inviting you to test media, approaches and techniques.

Egg tempera is one of the most ancient historical art painting technique. It preserved as a main technique to paint orthodox religious icons. It is possible to learn it and paint your own icon. I have 9 years of practice teaching people how to do it. We work together step by step to understand the technique, the way to prepare wooden panel to paint an icon and the techniques of making a good project to make the icon fit to the board. We also learn how to make gold leaf layer on the nimbs. Your icon will be a real, crafted icon.

I am here to help you surpass yourself! ;) Professional dancer, choreographer and teacher, I am creative, empathic, dynamic, and versatile. Holder of a Bachelor's degree in contemporary dance and creation of multidisciplinary performances from the Iceland University of the Arts, a Master 2 in Art Research & International Creation from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, I am an artist member of the International Dance Council at UNESCO. Since 2020, I have been engaged in academic research on medical and spiritual dance whose practice is called Transcendental Dance (Transcendental Embodiment). I intend to present this research in a doctoral contract. My professional experience extends internationally where I had the opportunity to work alongside various renowned companies and to organize internships in France, Iceland, Sweden, Mexico, Czech Republic, Spain, Turkey and Asia. Also, I had the opportunity to dance for haute couture houses during Fashion Week in Paris. I teach contemporary dance, technical floorwork (floor work), contact dance and classical dance. My classes focus on mindfulness, musicality, harmonization of energy flows, improvisation, muscle strengthening and coaching in choreographic composition for competitions, exams, galas, and weddings. Through the creative medium of visual art, I will fit the lesson plan according to your needs. Do you want to learn colour theory? I will teach you, using information from key texts. Would you like to learn how to travel journal successfully for an upcoming trip? Let me know and I can work with you to create an entirely unique lesson centred on the materials you want to use, how to use them and how to create habits. I've internationally exhibited in many mediums, as well as nationally (in the UK) over 20 times, including with the Tate, with the Mayflower 400 initiative, a space arts and God's House Tower. I work traditionally in physical mediums such as watercolour, oil paint, acrylics, gouache, coloured pencil, charcoal and graphite. I graduated with a First Class BA Honours in Fine Art from Southampton University. I run workshops for groups locally, and work with therapeutic art techniques. I'm well-versed in grant writing, having achieved 3 successful grants to date and my work is featured in a number of publications. I have been fortunate enough to have works in private collections. My hours are flexible, and the range of mediums I work in is too. I have experience teaching, and am bilingual in English and Greek.

This class will support you to explore your local area. You will do this by foot and your learning and study will depend on what you encounter in your local area. Harnessing and expressing your growing knowledge will be done creatively in a mode that you enjoy most - drawing or writing or photography or a combination of both. We will look at ways to dig deeper into our locality and follow what interests us most. This is a contemporary art practice class that will tap into geography and history.

This class is for aspiring graphic design and art students that would like to enter an art&design school in Switzerland. I will teach you the basics of the composition, colour, editorial, how to approach the design brief, and also how to use the main tools (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator). I am currently a secon-year graphic design student at the Geneva school of art&design.
