I've been teaching piano around 14 years, specialising on ABRSM exam tutoring for 12 years ,helping my pupils achieve various levels of piano playing. This class can be delivered in English and Chinese. Apart from solo piano tutoring ,I am also an accompanist for piano duo , trio and quartet.

I've been a professional guitarist for around 15 years and am a graduate of Goldsmiths in classical music. I have a wealth of experience playing in various genres in addition to teaching students of all abilities privately and in schools. Whether you wish to pick up a few new songs or are in it for the long haul, I am happy to accommodate you. My classes will be well prepared and succinct and tailored to your specific needs. In my 10 years of experience playing guitar in various bands, I have accumulated a vast amount of knowledge about a plethora of different genres that I am able to teach confidently in including, Rock/Metal, Blues, Jazz, Funk, Country and anything else that you may want me to teach. I can also help with key musical skills including fingerboard harmony, technique, vocabulary, song/solo analysis, improvisation, music theory, ear training and sight reading. My goal as a teacher is to give the student effective tools for building their musical vocabulary in a fun and effective way without making it feel too much like school. Each lesson is catered toward the individual. I aim to teach every student the integral aspects of whichever genre they would like to learn and help them through anything they may be struggling with with care and patience.

At my studio my students will not only learn how to play the piano, but they will receive a complete musical education in order to achieve their musical dreams. I will give all my best so everybody will get the tools for developing their own voice, helping them to master the instrument and teaching them all the theoretical knowledge they’ll need to make their particular personality shine. In that case the lessons will include contents of piano technique, score reading, applied harmony on the keyboard, composition, improvisation, musical arrangement, music production, recording techniques, jazz and pop music analysis and performance. Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician. Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs.
