A philologist with MPhil degree from Cambridge University and PhD from the Russian University of Humanities, I have been teaching Russian and English, as well as humanities, since the early 2000s, both offline (at the time it was the only way!) and online. Background in journalism and wide international experience I lived and worked in India and in the United States before moving to the UK have helped me to familiarize with different educational systems and taught me how to work with people of various backgrounds, cultures and interests. Working with both adults and children, I am always looking for ways to arouse students' interest in a subject and encourage them to ask questions. Each student has unique needs, so all my classes are tailored, and I am doing my best to make our joint learning adventure as exciting as possible. I am eternally grateful to my own school and university teachers, as well as to private tutors. Without them my dreams about Cambridge University, traveling the world and having all those experiences that I have now would remain only dreams. I specialise in tutoring French and/or English for school just as well for higher education levels or different age groups. As a native speaker in both languages and as a linguaphile who took interest in learning other languages such as Spanish and Arabic, I am aware of the struggles that might come with attempting to learn a new language. For my students, I would start off by evaluating where they are at in terms of their level of speaking just as well as writing, in order to know what to work on and what they've already mastered. I would provide homework, just as well as challenges to place them in real life situations where they would have to use their skills and knowledge. In addition to this, providing a feedback on what they've accomplished, what needs further improvement and work.

Maths is a highly useful skill in all areas of life as well as most fields of industry. Maths has been a passion of mine since my school days where I managed to achieve an A at A-level in one year. My focus was mechanics and calculus but my teaching skills extend to all levels of from A-level below. My focus on teaching is to try and bring maths alive with the more fascinating ways in which different areas of maths can conjoin and impact the real world. Why are beehives hexagonal shaped for example? Why do spider webs mimic certain road maps? I've been a chess tutor as well as a maths tutor for some years and enjoy the process of teaching, having taught students as young as 5 all the way up to adults. Recent graduate from a French engineering school, I am now a postgraduate student at Imperial College. I have always loved mathematics and I would like to share my love for the science with anyone who needs it. My goal is to make maths and physics simpler and funnier to study in order to help as many students as I can.
