In this course, you will learn how to scan any object using Reality Capture software. This efficient and powerful software was first used for the preservation of archaeological objects and historical monuments, but is now used for video games, VFX and virtual reality, as it offers tools and results of a impressive quality, all in an easy-to-use interface. In this course, you will be able to learn: -How does photogrammetry work? -How to take suitable photos -How to prepare these photos for their use in the software -How to use these photos to reconstruct an object in 3D and apply a realistic texture to it -How to optimize scans for custom use (games, movies, etc.) Gradually, we will solidify these skills to learn how to build a library of highly realistic objects based on high resolution scans. It is also possible to present your projects to me and to obtain personalized help on them.

I can teach you basic photography on DSLR cameras. I have a Master degree in Cinema directing. I have worked with prominent directors in Lebanon and Iran. After the 5 sessions, I can offer cheaper sessions in order to practice outdoors. I can speak English and French a little bit. I am fluent in Farsi and Arabic. Exhibition - Aperture: Size of the diaphragm (f/2.8 more light, f/16 less light). - Shutter speed: Time the shutter is open (1/1000 freezes, 1/30 blurs). - ISO: Sensitivity to light (ISO 100 less noise, ISO 3200 more noise). 2. Composition - Rule of thirds: Divide the image into 3x3 and place the subject at the intersections. - Guide lines: They direct the viewer's gaze. - Balance: Harmonious and simple elements. 3. I offer 2 types of lesson: 1- Photography The aim of the lesson is to learn how to master the different settings and functions of your camera in order to successfully photograph any subjects. We will talk about: - Light exposure (Speed, aperture, ISO) - Different shooting modes and when to use them - Focus modes - Focal length (and lenses in general) - White balance - File extensions, color space, etc... We can adapt the lesson according to the photographic themes you prefer (landscapes, wildlife, street photo, macro, etc...) 2- RAW files development on lightroom A RAW file is the electronic equivalent of a negative film. The aim is to teach you how to use lightroom software in order to develop a RAW file and obtain a satisfying final image. We will look at all the lightroom functions one by one and exercise on some pictures to understand all the possibilities of the software.
