This course is designed for both beginners who want to learn from scratch and intermediate students who want to improve their piano skills. Includes essential piano fundamentals (score reading, technique and posture), diverse repertoire that ranges from classical to contemporary pieces, adapted to your level (or pieces of the student's choice: films, songs,...) We will use a personalized and friendly approach to ensure that each student achieves their musical goals in a fun and effective way. The classes will adapt to your needs and learning pace.

I am a violinist, violin teacher with experience teaching English and am looking for students who would like to improve their language learning skills with movement and music. I teach using body-based learning, focusing on motor skills, repetition and environmental cues to help strengthen learning. We will explore the development of Western European music from Antiquity to Modernity, based on my former Berklee College of Music training (alumni). Antiquity,Middle Ages,Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, romantic, and 20th century ; music spanning all these periods will be explored in depth.

Transverse Flute Classes. You will learn the technique to start the instrument and be able to play songs of genres such as jazz, Bossanova, Cuban music and / or classical music. We will always work on a technical part (Scales and arpeggios) and repertoire (classical and / or popular). In this course we will be introduced to a deeper and more interconnected musical knowledge through the piano. We will not only learn pieces for this instrument but we will also see the fundamentals of musical theory, we will practice intonation, auditory training (to recognize pitches, instrumental timbres, the structure of the pieces we listen to), improvisation and sound and musical creation (using sound and music technologies such as systems of harmony and counterpoint) and of course we will discuss historical musical events and reflect on different musical aesthetics. The objective of the course is to gain a broad understanding of musical phenomena and thus gain perspective to guide us towards those instruments, genres, styles and musical professions that most attract us.

Thanks to my experience as a teacher in a professional center such as the Santander Professional Conservatory of Music, where I have had the opportunity to work with students of all ages, since I have been lucky enough to work with numerous teachers who have given me different points of view to face the development of the interpretive technique of the transverse flute, I have extensive experience and numerous tools to help solve the difficulties of the students when playing. I currently combine my acting career with my second master's degree in acting at the Barcelona Conservatory of Music with Professor Vicens Prats. I have extensive experience as a teacher at the Santander Professional Music Conservatory "Ataulfo Argenta". As a performer, I have the opportunity to collaborate with numerous orchestras, such as the Basque Country Orchestra (OSE) or the Valles Symphony Orchestra (OSV). These experiences and many others allow me to face the classes from a professional point of view while, by continuing to be a student, I can understand more closely the difficulties that students may encounter when playing the transverse flute.

The Tecla y Música Workshop is a space designed to learn and develop your musical and expressive sense through the piano and / or keyboards. The main objective is to learn to make music and enjoy the learning process and its results. The material with which we work (songs, instrumental pieces and exercises) is mainly oriented to your musical taste, and the choice is based on gradually expanding your technical and expressive possibilities, while exploring different musical styles. In this way, different tools are being incorporated to achieve, in a short term, mastery and fluency over the musical language and the instrument. Given that each student has different interests and concerns, whether playing as a hobby or developing a professional career, composing, improvising, etc., the orientation of the classes is built according to the possibilities and particular needs of each case. The work proposal implies a weekly class frequency to achieve optimal work dynamics and that the results are visible in a short term. There is also the possibility of taking isolated classes in order to solve a specific objective such as developing and perfecting some particular aspect of music practice and / or theory as well as preparing instrument exams or theoretical subjects for institutions of musical studies.
