I offer professional Brass instruments (Bariton, Tenorhorn, Euphonium, Trombone, Trumpet, Tuba) lessons for children from the age of four, for teenagers and adults. Whether beginner or advanced, that doesn't matter to me. Every motivated student of trumpets is welcome with me. I see it as my job to promote the particular character of each student. Playing the trumpet is an art that is difficult to explain. To become a good Brass player, you need more than “just” to master your instrument. Practice is a basic requirement. Young Brass students, children in particular need the support and support of their parents in the learning process, but the joy in the practice lessons should not be left behind. Trombone is a poweful instument, capable of touching the soul of the audience. I've specialized in teaching Trombone since I was 20, the main target of my course is guiding beginners and intermediate develop and practise the instument, and make their own music taste.

The trombone has been a staple instrument in music for centuries. This course is designed for people in grades 6-8 who are planning on playing trombone or euphonium in high school and are looking for some instruction outside of their regular band class. DISCLAIMER: I am making this course primarily due to the fact that schools are closed because of the coronavirus. Once things calm down, we can do your private lessons in person if you prefer. I have made district honor band multiple times and participated in this year's Georgia All-State Band. I have also played in multiple community bands through the years, I have attended multiple honor bands at universities such as Reinhardt and Young Harris, and I have been In West Forsyth's top band since freshman year. Why take lessons from me? Taking lessons from a professional will ALWAYS be more beneficial if you are wanting to improve your playing. I am a professional bass trombonist, I have been teaching for over 5 years from beginners to college level. I am from the United States where I have taught private and large group lessons. I have a Bachelors in Music Performance from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters from the Amsterdam Conservatorium. Through my experience I have found it crucial to start lessons with setting goals for each student; from simple short term goals to more advance long term goals. Just like any art that you wish to learn, practicing is a vital part to succeed, therefore starting with fundamentals and slowly advancing our techniques into repertoire is a very personal experience and we all learn at different rates. With one on one lessons each student has the convenience of setting personal goals, taking different routes to succeed, and overall enjoying the interaction between teacher and student. I always like to begin lessons, normally lasting around 30 minutes. This will allow me to learn more about the student and their aspirations. Likewise the student will learn about my teaching methods and the structure of the lessons. I'd be more than glad to share more information about my experience and educational background. I did it because I have realized that conservatories train excellent interpreters, but not teachers who know how to teach.
