I am a high school English teacher from Australia with a decade of teaching experience. I have taught in Australia, England, and Chile and have recently moved to Barcelona. I am offering after-school tutoring in the subject of English (Language/Literature), whether it be in the British, IB, or American curriculum. Normally the foreign language is learned in an unnatural way by focusing on grammar and writing, when in reality we know that a language is learned first by speaking and then by reading and writing. Just as young children do, remembering and associating. Learning to use and enjoy a language is the basis for learning to read and write later.
