Fine Art/Art & Design/Photography (A Level/GCSE and beyond)
To succeed in Fine Art, we need to open our ways of thinking. Oftentimes, we can feel stuck, lost or uninspired. In this class, I will teach you how to move forward in these moments; how to produce a healthy momentum in yourself to find excitement in your projects and push through them to the finishing point. Fine Art is unlike any subject in that it really comes from the individual. There is no "right way", but if there is no discernible path, where do we go? I can show you how to tap into your inner artist and create and move through projects with a self-direction that will build your confidence, ignite passion and open unlimited ways to express yourself regardless of technical ability. Is there a project you are currently working on that you are stuck with? Are you feeling uninspired in your art journey and want some new life injected into it? Is your confidence in your abilities low? Do you feel you are wasting your time with art but you really love it when you are doing it? Are you studying and repeatedly getting similar feedback/marks but are unsure how to take it to the next level? I can help you.

Film Studies for All Interested (this may specifically college students)
In this class, you will learn about the intersections of film and philosophy in a way that will prepare you to excel in college-level film studies courses. If a college course mentions being an introduction to “film studies” or “film theory”, then you can imagine this as the Apprentus equivalent of that! PDFs for reading and discussion will be sent out long before class meeting sessions, along with a list of questions we will discuss together as a group. I presently hold a Film Studies MA degree and I believe that being a critical media consumer is increasingly important in this highly technological age. Please let me know if you have any questions!
