I am a Mexican musician living in the Parisian suburbs. I have more than 20 years as a guitarist and more than 10 years as a guitar teacher in Mexico. My specialty is Latin music and Latin American folklore; however, other genres can be practiced mainly on the acoustic guitar or the ukulele. I try to combine theory with practice so that I can start making music and enjoy the instrument from the start. Music has taken me to play in Mexico, United States, Costa Rica, France, Poland, Spain, Portugal and Germany. I can teach in Spanish, English or French.

Learning to play an instrument is an amazing skill to possess! I have been playing guitar for 12 years now and piano for 2 years. Playing instrument provides me with a hobby that is equal parts calming and fun, it brings joy to me and to others. It is best to start learning music at a young age however, it is never too late to pick up a new skill! I myself have recently tried learning the cello and it is exciting to say the least. I have many years experience tutoring and teaching both academically and musically. I have taught ages 4-15 years old in the past as well as having many years experience in customer service. I can teach chords, fingerstyles and plucking, full songs or melodies, in either tab form or standard music notation.

My intention in the classes is that the student develops a lasting interest & passion for playing guitar. The classes are interactive and the student is given the space to learn & apply the concepts within the classes itself. The student is also encouraged to express themselves & clear all doubts. The concepts covered in the classes include guitar tone, guitar techniques, ear training, sheet music (sight reading), open & barre chords, guitar solos and many more, as per the unique needs of each student.
