I have been learning the violin and piano since 5 years old, and am currently taking a bachelor's in Music Performance in Violin, at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. Students of any age are welcome, and I have special experience with beginner and younger students, having given a lot of lessons in piano and music theory. I teach in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and basic Dutch. The individual violin lessons are personalized and tailored to the progress and learning ability of each student. Emphasis is placed on developing good posture and ease of movement at the early stage. We will then continue to revise and enhance technique while taking on a more challenging repertoire as they progress. Lessons are stress-free and I always try to provide a safe and calm environment for an engaging and fun class! Games for little kids are an absolute must! My name is Jorgina, I am dedicated to nurture a genuine love for music to children through personalized piano lessons. I am Spanish Antwerp-based, I play violin and piano since the age of 6. I help young musicians build their skills and confidence by focusing on creativity, independence and a fun learning experience. My goal is to help each student fall in love with piano by adapting the lessons to their interests and needs ensuring an enjoyable first contact with the instrument. I always propose a customized repertoire based on the student choice, from classical to modern music with the possibility to explore composition and music production in Ableton. Hi! My name is Charlie and I'm currently a member of the Opera Ballet Vlaanderen Orchestra. Teaching has been the foundation of my musical life for over a decade. My teaching studio has hosted a private studio in Oslo, New York, Connecticut and now Antwerp. While living in New York I was the viola and violin professor at Pluckd Studio where I helped prepare students for music festivals, auditions and to establish a sound foundational approach to instrumental playing. While a student at Juilliard, I coached students in Juilliard’s Pre-College/MAP program and helped lead children’s concerts in Chicago, Austin, New York and Oslo. Whether you are a beginner, conservatory student or young professional, you can expect a passionate and attentive lesson plan that will help you achieve your goals. As a orchestra musician since long time, I would like to offer help and training for orchestra auditions. I play in different countries in Europa (France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, UK etc.) : I am aware of the difference styles. I can teach in french and english, if necessary, in german too. I don't count the hours, usually it's between 90 and 120'

For the study of the instrument, we will focus on a dynamic between, the study of the violoncelle and his technique, using scores, melodies, and improvisation. A method based also on the connection between brain-body that allows one to improve and enjoy the art of practicing in different ways. Anyway, each student requires a specific method, depending on their dedication and objectives. The assigned method varies between students and growth by levels; this situation makes teachers make a decision. Sometimes the explanation is required in a theoretical or more dynamic way through videos, music, own compositions, improvisation, imitation, and feelings. I love teach, I was teaching in Mexico in some music schools, and my students from there, they are now in very nice projects and schools in all Mexico I speak English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Many people are passionate about music, but have they ever studied it in their lives? With this course I offer music theory, transverse and recorder classes for all levels, from the youngest to the oldest. The course can be adapted to each student and their preferences when it comes to learning. From getting to know the history of music a little better, learning to read sheet music, learning more about harmony, analyzing compositions or learning a new instrument. These are some of the options but I am always open to students and their preferences.
