After completing my Bachelor's degree in violin at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, I did a year of Erasmus at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf, in Germany. From September, I will start my Master at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen. Discovering new ways of learning is very important to me. I like to seize opportunities and meet inspiring musicians during Masterclasses in Belgium and abroad. Perseverance and work, while respecting oneself, are for me the keys to long-term progress. Learning music with kindness is the most important thing for me. I adapt to the needs and desires of each student, so that the process is personalized and motivating. Being able to pass on my passion enriches me enormously and allows me to acquire new skills as a musician. I teach in French and English. I also have some German and I plan to learn Dutch this year.

My name is Ana and I am a Spanish flutist living in Antwerp. I offer flute and music classes for any level and age live or online. I have already finished my flute bachelor in Zaragoza (Spain) and now I am studying the Master in the Royal Comservatory of Antwerp.

First, let's remember what we're talking about. Music is and always has been inherent in all human societies. It has many roles and is a very powerful language. It's a universe in itself... Music, and the violin in particular, brings me enormous joy every day. In fact, joy is, in my opinion, the greatest source of motivation given to us on earth. So, quite logically, I place it at the heart of my lessons. It would be an illusion to pretend that learning to play the violin is a simple matter! So I accept the challenge, often neglected, to do everything I can to convey my enjoyment of playing the violin. By the way, as I just wrote, in French you don't say "travailler le violon", you say "jouer du violon". So even though the road is hard, I will do everything I can to make it fun. My lessons are adapted to all levels, ages and profiles. Together with each student, I strive to find the most suitable tests, so that everyone learns as effectively as possible and, above all, with pleasure! I attach great importance to the correct use and well-being of the body. Playing the violin not only involves the cerebral and the emotional, it is also a complex physical exercise! For those who have already had lessons, I try to consciously or unconsciously replace bad habits learned with good ones, and for beginners to immediately install the correct automatisms. I give individual lessons. But sometimes I bring students together to learn to play together and perform in public. Attending other people's lessons can also be very helpful in gaining a better understanding of the various mechanisms of the violin. Music is a powerfull tool of comunication. If you are completely new and you want to know the basics of the music in fun way, you want to go more deep in your knowledges about music or you want to have flute classes this place is for you. My teaching method is flexible, as I can give lessons for a specific purpose (passing an exam, passing a test...) as well as working with people who are just looking to learn an instrument as a hobby. I have experience teaching children from 6 years old up to adults. Depending on the age and the goal you want to achieve with the classes, the lessons can be between 30 and 90 minutes long. I not only give lessons based on my method, but I can also reinforce students who already have a teacher to help them to achieve the work that the teacher has imposed on them by adapting to their way of working.

I am a Master student of viola at Royal Conservatoire Antwerp, I have been playing viola and learning music for 15 years and I have a lot of experience teaching, from young children to older players. I have played in numerous orchestra around Europe and now I study and work as a freelance in Belgium. The lessons are personalized for each student depending of his or her level and I am very flexible with schedules and placement of the lessons. Because of the situation with covid I also teach online, it's all up to the student's prefference. I would love to theach enthusiast musicians that are willing to learn about the instrument (viola or violin) techniques and musical language in general. I also teach music theory and my native language is Spanish but I speak English fluently as well as Portuguese and a little bit of French.

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music." Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (USA). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

I make recordings of violins and string ensembles. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central.
