The content of the lessons is adapted to the needs and wishes of each student. It is possible to follow a combination of music theory and instrument, or only focus on one aspect. Depending on the student's goal, the level, teaching method and music styles are adjusted and personalized in consultation. Together we will look at what your learning needs are and which method suits you best. I am familiar with different styles for both harp and piano, from classical music (baroque, impressionism, classicism, romanticism and contemporary music), to folk music, jazz standards, pop songs or minimalist music. I have been learning the violin and piano since 5 years old, and am currently taking a bachelor's in Music Performance in Violin, at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. Students of any age are welcome, and I have special experience with beginner and younger students, having given a lot of lessons in piano and music theory. I teach in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and basic Dutch. The individual piano lessons are personalized and tailored to the progress and learning ability of each student. Emphasis is placed on developing good posture and ease of movement at the early stage. Hello everyone! My name is Blanca and I am a Master's student at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen. I offer private music and piano lessons, at your place or even online. I have been teaching children and adults since I was 17, and I have been working in a lot of private schools, as well as my own private students. Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music." My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions.
