Young adults and adults are also very welcome! The piano lessons take place at my home in Berchem I live a short distance from Berchem station . During the lessons I will take into account specific wishes, such as preference for classical or popular music. I use a piano method suited to your age. No prior knowledge of music is required. I will open the world of music through the basics of piano playing. You don't know where to start? No worries, in this class you will learn everything about fingers, pianos and posture! The content of the lessons is adapted to the needs and wishes of each student. It is possible to follow a combination of music theory and instrument, or only focus on one aspect. Depending on the student's goal, the level, teaching method and music styles are adjusted and personalized in consultation. Together we will look at what your learning needs are and which method suits you best. I am familiar with different styles for both harp and piano, from classical music (baroque, impressionism, classicism, romanticism and contemporary music), to folk music, jazz standards, pop songs or minimalist music. There is also the option to work from improvisations. The lessons are suitable for all ages and levels, the personal profile of the student is central.

All levels are welcome for lessons: if you want to - Learn the basic techniques to play the saxophone, - Improve your sound, - Understand the solos of your favorite musician, - Learn creative ways to improvise, I will help you with lessons tailored to your specific needs. I teach bass guitar which is my main instrument of 12 years, to all ages. I have experience mainly teaching it to beginners and intermediates. The classes are structured to cover basics of bass playing in terms of both technique and theory. One may expect to have exercises as weekly assignments. These exercises are weekly put together by me using a variety of bass method books. The weight of music theory, harmony and ear training within what we cover can be rearranged according to the needs and expectations of the student.

Cello Lessons for all levels: My main goal with my teaching is to share my passion for music with my students. I believe strongly that this passion leads to discipline and curiosity which benefit all other aspects of one's life. Whether or not my students decide to pursue music as their main profession, I believe they have much to gain from learning the cello. Besides the discipline one learns, Music-making in itself is fulfilling!! :) Conservatory Preparation: In my experience as a musician living and working in Belgium for the past 6 years, I have noticed a gap in the musical education of young Belgian music students transitioning from Music academies into Conservatories. Oftentimes, these young music students seeking to enter conservatories do not possess the necessary skill level to enter higher education in Music. Through my private teaching, I intend to bridge this gap by catering specifically (though not exclusively) to these students. I strongly believe that there is a huge demand for this type of teaching which I am capable of providing.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Dear students: My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music. **Class suggestions and indications** No experience is needed just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music. Classes can be given either in English, Spanish, French or Deutsch. There are no limit for styles, bring your favorite music and I will provide a safe environment for your personal and musical growth. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else.
