I learned sewing and pattern making from my grandmother, like many of us! Passionate about history, she passed on to me her love of savoir-faire, craftsmanship and historical costumes. In 2021, I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design. I then specialised in costume and audiovisual productions by taking part in several short films. A year ago, I obtained my Master's degree in stage costume design and production. I was lucky enough to do several internships in Parisian fashion houses, especially in the tailoring workshops. Here in this course, I will show how to take the right measurements for your hat. You will design your hat according to your measurements and develop your own design. I will show you some variations and how to develop them. Finally, I will sew a beret and show you step by step what to do. You will then understand how to sew berets and how to modify them to create different shapes.
