I am a native Italian speaker, interpreter and translator. I have a bachelor’s degree in cultural and linguistic mediation, and I have completed a master’s degree program in modern languages for international communication with the highest marks in September. Thanks to my degrees and experience as a translator and teacher, I have acquired professional proficiency of the Italian language for teaching and translating purposes. Currently, I live in the Netherlands, where I’ve just completed a traineeship at Leiden University as an Italian teacher for foreigners. As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing. Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing. We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis. We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them. In the second part of the lesson, we will apply all of the above to the singing!

If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.
