The class is intended for advanced students who are enrolled in (pre-)Master courses in one or more of the following topics: Machine Learning, Stochastic Processes, Markov Chains, Queueing Theory, Stochastic Calculus, Stochastic Differential Equations and Applications, and Risk Management.

During my studies in Econometrics at the University of Amsterdam (graduated in 2015, MSc.) and in addition to my job as a consultant, I have always taught mathematics and statistics to secondary school students and university students (HBO and WO) with great pleasure. Since 2022 I work parttime as a math teacher and educational advisor in the Emma Children's Hospital in Amsterdam and besides I teach private students. Lessons can be taught in English or Dutch and face-to-face or online, depending on the location. Location face-to-face classes: Citizen M Amsterdam, at your home or in the public library. It is possible to arrange group lessons (max 3 students).

Mathematics is often a difficult subject for many students in high school. What I have noticed while learning math is that it is about the fun you have while learning to understand math. I will happily work with my students to ensure that they understand mathematics, enjoy it, and come home with great grades! At home, in the library, or online. As long as the lesson ends with a smile, I'm happy!

I believe anyone can learn math. And with an average rating of 8.5 for my exam training at, among others, lyceo, I have experienced a lot of others doing the same. We usually start with some (simple) exercises around the subject to gauge your understanding. This way I can construct a tailor-made approach that guarantees you will see the light. There are, of course, no real guarantees in education. But I can guarantee that after every hour of tutoring, you will be a little closer to the math genius that you really are. In addition, in the past two years, I have gained a lot of experience in online education. I now have a drawing tablet, an iPad, and an external microphone (worth 300 euros) to be able to deliver the best experience online. All levels are welcome, all ages. bring it on!

In this class I offer engaging and supportive tutoring sessions with High School content level up to the last year of I/GCSE in Math, English and Economics. I guide students step-by-step to solve similar problems with my support. This will help them gain confidence in their studies. Prior to the class, unless specifically requested, I will prepare relevant content that will be covered during the class. For any question feel free to contact me :)

You will be given tips, advice, including with exam technique, available for primary or secondary students. We can go through exam practice papers, content from class you do not understand or revision. I am a student at the moment myself, so believe I can give an understanding and patient learning environment.

I prefer to do 1-on-1 sessions with the student to develop a better understanding of how the student thinks and tackle any problems together. Whether it is a student that is failing and has to reinforce his/her motivation and fundamental understanding of the topic to develop skills to pass an exam, or a student who is doing well and seeks ways to push for better grades throughout any subject at school, I am happy to help with any problems there may be academically.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels.
