The classical/contemporary pan flute has developed only in the last 20 years which concluded with composers writing for this instrument and educators to develop a teaching program. The instrument has been very famous in world music for centuries, therefore the oral transmission played and still plays an important role in teaching and developing the techniques of the instrument. I've been teaching the pan flute for 4 years and playing the instrument for more than 14 years with experience in different styles: folk, classic and contemporary My style is based on demonstration, involving the student in the process of understanding the techniques of the instrument as well as the reasons behind certain musical styles in order to help them achieve confidence and a better interpretation. I use most of the time the brainstorming strategy to help students generate questions and ideas and get creative like in improvising, writing their own melodies, etc. In matters of musical interpretation, I encourage experimenting with phrases, musical colors, rhythms, musical direction, and music analysis.

Hello, I am Francesca and I have been playing the drums for some years now. I have a bachelor and a master's in science but I chose to make a turning point in my life and study music. I was admitted in the conservatory of Groningen in 2021, in the jazz departement but after successfully completing 2 years, I chose to leave the academic institution. I would like to share the artistry and joy of drumming but also the knowledge I have gained so far, with students of all ages and especially beginners. In my lessons, I focus on practical skills like rhythm, coordination, and technique. We work through exercises and songs together, tailored to each student's goals and abilities. My approach is hands-on and encouraging. I know that learning drums can be challenging, so I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and pushing their limits. I have been teaching piano for over 20 years now. I trained at the Royal College of Music after winning a junior scholarship, where I spent 8 years studying piano, cello, music theory and choral music. My aim is for my students to enjoy the rewards and challenges of learning by making lessons fun and accessible. Each lesson is tailored to the individual needs of my students. I teach ABRSM grades and all styles of music from complete beginner to advanced level.

I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I give private piano lessons for all levels and styles (classical, jazz, Latin, new age, pop...), as well as music theory, composition and improvisation lessons. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term.
