Hello there! My name is Antek and i'm a cellist and composer who graduated from Conservatorium van Amsterdam. As a cellist I've had the pleasure and honour of collaborating with renowned artists such as Hans Zimmer, being part of his 2022 European Tour Orchestra, touring over 15 countries and playing in locations such as London's O2 Arena or Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. I am now mainly active as a performer of contemporary/experimental music, as well as classical music, freelancing in various orchestras in the Netherlands, having played in venues such as Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ, Concertgebouw or TivoliVredenburg. I offer cello lessons, regardless of the level - whether you are a curious beginner or more advanced player, i'm happy to collaborate and share my knowledge and experience with you, as well as inspire your creativity regarding both playing the right notes, and making artistic choices. I can also help you prepare for conservatory entrance exams by providing Solfege, Ear-training and General Music Theory lessons. As a composer, I'm currently pursuing a degree at Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp. I can help you work on your ideas, and how to write them down, to sound exactly how you want them to sound. That includes tutorials on engraving rules, orchestration, working in DAWs (Ableton) and using sheet music software (Sibelius, MuseScore), as well as building your craft and workflow. If you’re interested in learning the flute and/ or gaining a new understanding of music through harmony, this lesson will provide that for you. If you choose to, we’ll cover technique, improvisation, reading music, tone control and expression. We’ll also go over the fundamentals of harmony to give you the tools that will help with any other instrument. Your listening skills will also be developed. All entirely up to you, of course, we’ll only go as far as you wish.

I help my students to learn to play the ukulele or to improve their level with personalised approach where I create individual lesson plans for each student for their needs and pace. I create exercises from the songs you like/wish to play and cover the technical aspect in a fun way. Adrian Bifano (1997) is an Amsterdam-based guitarist from Caracas, Venezuela that is part of the up-coming generation of the Dutch Jazz scene. Winner of the Erasmus Jazz Prize 2019, Adrian has performed at top festivals such as North Sea Jazz Fest, North Sea Round Town and Grachtenfestival, and has also shared the stage with established and emerging musicians such as Benjamin Herman, Stefan Lievestro and Alessandro Fongaro. Adrian (1997) started classical guitar lessons at age 11 but quickly switched to electric guitar because of his passion for rock music. At age 14, he was admitted to the TJC Music School in his hometown, Caracas, where he studied jazz guitar, graduating with honours at age 17. While living in Venezuela, Adrian started playing professionally at 16 years old, being called a “young promise”. In 2017, Adrian moved to The Netherlands to study at Codarts University of the Arts, later transferring to Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2019 to study with Jesse van Ruller, Reinier Baas, Martijn van Iterson, Maarten van der Grinten, and many more. During my oboe lessons, enjoying music is central. The double reed plays an important role in both the sound and the ease of playing the oboe. I make sure there is always a reed that plays nicely. In addition, I will pay a lot of attention to the way of blowing. This is the basis that ensures that the students can have fun and make music right from the start. . Making music together is the best thing there is, so I like to play along with the students in a duet. I guide advanced students in developing their (musical) creativity and, if they wish, I offer reed lessons. In these lessons I give tips for updating reeds and explain all the steps of the reed making process.
