Piano lessons for all ages! Beginners, intermediate, and advanced players are all welcome!
Hi!
My name is Luís and I am a 3rd year classical piano student at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
If you ever dreamed of playing the piano, I am willing to help you!
In my lessons, I always try to engage students in an attractive experience, gathering their focus on the musical meaning of what they are playing, and avoiding being overly concerned about technical difficulties that might come up. For me, music-making has to be rather exciting and fun!

2. Polish up your piano skills.
3. Develop a 360-degree understanding of music and examine works from the perspectives of a Pianist, a composer, and an interpreter.
4. Help you with basic music theory, harmony and counterpoint, form analysis, ear training, Piano literature, and music history.
5. Expand your piano repertoire.
6. Design an efficient Piano practice method that suits you.

Tullia
Piano lessons with experienced teacher - graduated Pianist. My teaching method developed during 20 years of experience and thanks to my studies of Music Pedagogy and Piano Teaching during my Master's in Piano at Livorno's Conservatory.
I am currently a piano teacher in a British School and I prepared several students for ABRSM and Trinity College exams.
As a private piano teacher, I work preferably in my studio, on a beautiful grand piano Yamaha, but, if not too far, I am also available for lessons at the student's house.
My teaching is adapted to the skills and goals of each student. With beginning children, I aim at full musical development of the student (not just playing notes, but feeling the rhythm, singing, and expressing emotions through free improvisation); technically I don't work only at the finger position, but at the organic interaction arm-wrist-fingers, through simple exercises.
With adult or advanced students, I observe them, to suggest which type of repertory to work together, and which aspects of the technique might still need improvement.
I teach classically, through the learning of notes, harmony, and written music, but I teach also how to play songs with only chord symbols, and blues improvisation at a basic level.
Both with children and adults I aim at creating a joyful experience during the lesson, in which focus is gained in a playful way, finding each time the best practicing solutions to technical and musical difficulties. In this way, practicing at home becomes not another heavy duty to add to an already busy schedule, but repeating a creative, searching experience, that is never the same.
Books: the use of a method is often suggested in the first years. Later I advice classical pieces to be studied. Also, Pop or Rock songs that the student would like to perform are well accepted, if I think the student can afford them.

One-on-one lessons in classical piano playing. Old or modern music, everything is possible!I have been playing classical piano for 14 years. Obviously a lot solo, but also in ensembles, as an accompanist for flutists, violinists, clarinetists and singers. I was also a paid rehearsal director and pianist for a music theater company for a while and I played concerts in an orchestra.
More importantly, I also enjoy teaching! Whether you are just starting out or have been working for some time, together we can tinker with your technique and execution.

Federica
Jazz/Pop/Classical Piano / Singing and Music lessons for all agesHi, I'm Federica, I am Italian, and I am a Jazz piano player and singer. I studied at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague and I just completed a master in Vocals and Piano at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I give Jazz/Pop/Classical Piano lessons but my main goal is to try to give the student a general understanding of the music to approach every style and to have fun with music! I love to work with children, I like to teach them good values like patience, self-confidence, trust, communication, and collaboration, all through music. That's what I learn every day by studying music and that's what I would like to transfer to my students. I've been told that If you have music in your life, you can't be a bad person. I believe in it.
I offer live and online lessons:

Play only what you like! - Piano lessons for all levels and all stylesMusic is Play! and everyone is it's own game.
Read, understand and make only the music you like. I think if it isn't fun, it can't be music:)
I studied a classical piano bachelor, and later a jazz master and a live electronics master. In the meantime, I have been teaching music. It's longer than 9 years now!
Most of my students learn piano. With the starter ones, I use my own system to equally help them grow all the needed skills: body consciousness (to avoid lesions or bad habits), music theory (including writing and reading) and improvisation.
Usually most songs are made of melody, chords and rhythm. From there, I can help you understand how a song works, how is it written, how does it translate to the piano... and voilá! You'll know the song by heart, and will be able to play it a bit different every time, because you won't be following a set of pre-imposed instructions. You will understand how a small system (a song) works.
This way of learning can be applied to any song, from any century or style. Understanding is key! Play Chopin, write rock songs, play Monk, Bill Evans, the Beatles, make a lo-fi beat, play Beethoven, play the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Star Wars, play video game music, play salsa! bachata and make people dance, laugh or cry.
Music is very powerful!
PD: I have also experience imparting electronic music lessons in Ableton Live and Max MSP, which is now a very important part of my professional practice. In case you are interested, it is also possible to mix the two worlds and create a any kind of path between piano, synths, beats and home studio techniques.
Ask me anything, I'll tell you how I could help!

Classical piano lessons in Amsterdam, for children and adultsThe class is offered to children and adults, who would like to discover the music world and broaden their understanding of this form of art.
For children, it will be a nice, light, and creative journey since I spend quite a lot of time with kids of different ages.
For adults, I could suggest either a fun way of learning or a deep and thoughtful approach to piano playing.
I am flexible and open to the conversation! This also applies to the schedule, location, time, and the repertoire you/your child would like to play. Any wishes regarding the materials, goals, directions (etc.) of the class are welcomed and highly appreciated!
Looking forward to meeting you and seeing your smile after the lesson! :)

Piano lessons, Singing lessons, Theater lessons or combination (Interpretation / Song accompaniment)I graduated from the Conservatory in Arnhem (ArtEZ) in 2013. Since then I have been working as an actor, singer and pianist (mostly theater). In addition to playing always been active as a teacher. Many group lessons but also individual lessons. Currently active as a keyboard player for the Aunt Joke Karaoke Band.
Because I master many different disciplines, we can make the lessons as personal as you want. Do you enjoy learning to guide yourself while singing? Do you want to write a song? Do you want to know if you are singing healthy? Do you want more technique in your piano playing? Do you want to learn more about music theory? Or just sing songs that you like? Everything is possible! Call or message me especially for questions !!

Enjoy youself playing and singing through your day!Hey!
I am Ava and I am looking for singing/piano students to teach what I have collected along the way.
Two years ago I successfully finished the Herman Brood pop/rock Academie, and I am currently studying in the third year, Conservatory for Jazz Music.
I can teach you about writing your own music/lyrics, about the technique and theory for jazz singing/piano and I also have some knowledge about how to work with synthesizers in a program such as Logic, to record yourself or your ideas.

Piano (any style!), Improvisation and Music Theory lessonsHey there! If you have been thinking for a while about learning to play, improvise and read music scores on the piano, then this is the sign to start!
My name is Enrique and I come from Andalucía, Spain. I am a Classical Piano student at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and I would be pleased to be your teacher. It will be great to teach you how to play your favourite music on the piano, but also about its language, reading and writing, that is, the music theory, or even how to start improvising your own music.
All of this is actually interconnected and it is interesting to combine them in teaching. I adapt to any age, level or taste (you may prefer classical, jazz, pop... everything is welcome!). Lessons can be taught in English or Spanish.
Thanks for your attention! Hope to help you soon ;)
