Public speaking is one of the scariest things for human beings. For some, it can be extremely debilitating and hinder their careers. But this apprehension concerns a very large percentage of the population and crosses all categories of age, gender or socio-professional background. Over the next six years, he was very active as an accompanist and music director for several musical theatre productions, a jazz pianist for many bands in the city, a composer and leader of his contemporary jazz trio, which won 3rd place at the 2017 Conad International Jazz Competition, and the co-founder and music director of an independent contemporary opera company. As a ballet pianist, Daniel trained at the École Supérieure de Ballet du Québec and has since worked with Pacific Northwest Ballet, Northern Ballet, and the Australian Ballet. Since returning to Seattle in 2020, he has worked with The 5th Avenue Theatre, one of the most prestigious musical theatres in the United States, as a pianist, music director and vocal coach. Recently relocated to Paris, he currently holds a position as pianist at the Paris Opera Ballet.

Hello and welcome ! My name is Charlotte, I am a singing teacher and professional opera singer. I graduated from the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris at the highest level with honours and I have a Masters in Opera Singing from the Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London, where I have won several prizes. I am the recipient of a prestigious scholarship from the Malvina and Denise Menda Foundation of the Fondation de France. I also have a BA in Art History from the University of Cambridge and an MA in Art History from the Courtauld Institute. I teach the principles of vocal technique that form the basis of all singing styles: finding an ideal posture and alignment of the body and the air column and eliminating unnecessary tension; optimizing breathing and support (singing with the whole body); beauty and homogeneity of the voice in all registers (homogeneity especially in lyrical singing); clear and precise articulation in all languages. Of course, these bases adapt differently depending on the styles and offer keys to freeing the voice, and not to restricting the singer! My teaching is holistic and I take into account the whole person with great sensitivity. The voice is at the center of the body and mind, and singing unifies the two. My life as an artist began as a classical dancer (I was a dancer in the young dancers program at the Royal Opera House, London) and this taught me a good awareness of my body and how to transmit it to others.
