Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. Learning to play an instrument is an amazing skill to possess! I have been playing guitar for 12 years now and piano for 2 years.
