Dear music enthusiasts or those who want to be, I would like to briefly introduce myself and offer my knowledge in the field of music. Music has been a part of my life since I was 8 years old. For 10 years I have been gaining experience as an orchestral musician in various locations, for example: Bochumer Symphoniker, Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie, Cologne Symphony Orchestra. From 2019 I will be a permanent member of the classical orchestra and will also be a lecturer in the music school at Aachen Cathedral. My students develop into participants and also award winners of various competitions such as: Jugend musiziert and the Carl Bechstein competition for children and young people. ► My particular strengths and offers: Through my experience in music therapy, I am able to show the students a way to express themselves with the help of music. VOCAL lessons are divided into 2 parts - 1) Warmup Exercise and 2) Singing Exercise. We do both parts in every lessons. Ideally we spend every 2-3 sessions for each song. For kids, a 30-min online lesson / 45-min face-to-face lesson would be long enough for their attention. For adults, it's good to start with a 50-min online lesson! Also, we do music appreciation occasionally during the session. Some other learning materials like music videos are applied based on song choices.

I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools/muziekacademies). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes.

This course is aimed at children who want to start in the world of music. We will learn basic notions of reading the staff and develop the ear, while we get to know the piano, and we explore the possibilities of our own voice. In this course we will also have music appreciation sessions of different genres and rhythms.
