Trusted teacher: (German version further down/Deutsche Version weiter unten) I enjoy teaching because it requires a deeper knowledge of the material than if one is only performing music. I am continuously learning too. I do not think that it is important how old you are or in what environment you grew up. To engage with music as a result of learning an instrument can bring your brain in a healthy state of ongoing change. People that are "without any talent" for music do not exist. Everyone can engage with music and enjoy it. I can teach Piano: - involving sheet music or not, depending on what you prefer. - or/and Music theory lessons - or/and Improvisation - or/and Jazz - or/and Ear Training - or/and Composition. The lessons can be held in English or German or a mixture of both. I teach close to Friedrichstraße in Berlin. The lessons can be done via Skype too. You can read about me as a performing musician here: Julius (*1995) is a German pianist and composer, graduated from the University of Arts Berne in Switzerland in 2017 with honors. In July 2019 he finished his Masters in the European Jazz Masters Programme through the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen with exchange semesters in Berlin and Amsterdam. Throughout his studies, he was lucky enough to receive artistic guidance by Colin Vallon, Django Bates, Harmen Fraanje, Simon Toldam, Peter Bruun, Greg Cohen, and Michael Moore. Julius was granted a scholarship by Lyra Stiftung Zürich in 2015 and 2016. Tours with his own bands have been supported by different fundings from Switzerland and Germany.
