Having completed 12 years of studies in Piano and Music Theory, as well as courses in Musical Training and Sight-Reading, I want to introduce this extraordinary instrument to both beginners and advanced students with the same passion that my teachers (including Sodi Braide, who studied at the Paris National Conservatory of Music (CNSM), and Stéphanie Aubert) used to bring me to my current level—performing in major concerts and competitions with first prize at the CMG. As a mechanical engineering student at EPFL, I can adapt the lessons in a fun yet rigorous way, to captivate young beginners. I highly suggest Mariana! I got into her class when I already had a very basic knowledge of Portuguese and I mostly needed a conversation buddy. As soon as she understood my level, she was able to quickly adjust her approach to my needs by making the classes very fun and my level go up. Every couple of classes she assessed my needs and weaknesses in the language. I had lots of improvements in a couple of months together and the classes fly by!! :)
