Trusted teacher: TECHNOLOGIES AT THE SERVICE OF LEARNING. Hello, My name is Laurie and I am an independent FLE teacher, graduated in French and Romance Languages and Literature since 2012. I have eight years of experience under my belt (abroad and in Belgium). I created a learning method for online courses. I have been preparing students for the DELF, DALF, TCF, FIDE, admission exams, etc. for several years. The course includes: -The material (articles, videos, exercises based on images and texts, grammatical theory, links to the exercises, etc.). I use google doc, so the ideal is to have a gmail address to be able to access it. -Correction of exercises outside the course (written expressions are corrected outside the course, or with the student, depending on their needs). -Access to an application (free) to study vocabulary on your smartphone. -A vocabulary sheet - pronunciation - grammar/conjugation, sent after each lesson. -If necessary, a recording of the vocabulary (for beginners). -Carrying out online exercises and tests based on the vocabulary sheets sent. -Motivation, laughter, good humor :-) My method: -It is oral based. -For grammar, I use a particular method which allows oral structures to be automated. -We work on pronunciation with the verbotonal method (exercises to pose your voice, for rhythm, etc.). I might even make you sing! :-) -Everything goes through the oral before going through the writing but I obviously adapt to the needs of the students. -The course is a little different for children and teenagers: I use interactive games and cards via the webcam. Miss Sara is a very good teacher. She has a way to keep my 6 year old daughter engaged and encouraged while increasing her abilities in French. I have seen my daughter improve drastically. She challenges her and she started reading many words in the space of 3 months when she could not before in French. The exercises she gives touches a wide range of topics (syllables, vocabulary, sentance building etc) that has allowed my English speakig daughter to cope well in her French school environment. She started understanding what people say to her in French which is amazing.
