I have lived in France, India, Germany and Russia teaching Spanish. During these 15 years of teaching, I learnt a lot about different methods, people and logics. I use a variety of resources (textbooks, articles, small videos, audios...) providing examples, exercises and homework so that what is to be learnt is doable. I adapt my classes to what students want and need so they make the most of their time and money. I think it is very important for students to feel comfortable and safe. It is also essential that what we do and talk about in class makes sense and is relevant for you. It is your goal and personal style of learning what will define our classes. Because of so many factors that guide this decision, it can be daunting for starting biotech/bioprocess students to be overwhelmed. I was definitely overwhelmed in my 1st year of uni. But after 5 years studying the subject, I am here to help you to think like an engineer and make informed choices based on the context of the process and product. In my class, I will teach you the theoretical background behind bioreactors and common unit operations (e.g. filtration, centrifugation, chromatography) and how to implement them into a bioprocess. This class is best suited for university students (bachelor or master), people joining/switching industry or just people interested in how pharmaceuticals are made! If you are a university student, we can can discuss your own assignments or projects. My tutoring style is discussion-based. We will have a conversation about the subjects rather than a lecture, which will give you the tools and confidence to better synthesize the course content and present your ideas in a specific manner. Sanja is fantastic! Her attitude towards how she teaches is refreshing as she let's her students, and actively encourages, making a song their own. I organised this for my fiancée as a surprise birthday present and she absolutely loved the experience! She is a very visual learner so the worksheets that Sanja had prepared were perfect, despite being aimed at kids, they worked wonders for her! I was allowed to sit close by too so I could enjoy the whole experience which was lovely. Thank you so much!! And we have already organised the next lesson.
