Trusted teacher: Hi All, thank you for checking out my course. This class is open to students of all levels. Whether you are only starting to learn the wild-looking letters of the Cyrillic alphabet, or whether you are looking to practise your written and spoken Russian, I would be delighted to accompany you at any stage of your Russian-learning journey. For more advanced students, I would be happy to help you get to know one of the most defining aspects of the Russian language, namely its novels and poetry, which would be a great way to learn about the 'mysterious' Russian soul. I believe that studying in three different countries have allowed me to try out and assess various approaches to education in general and teaching languages in particular - from the rigourous Russian system based on ensuring that the students will obtain exceptional spelling, grammar, syntax and punctuation skills, to the more relaxed yet more critical and analytical Western approach, focused on problem-solving and independent work. You will get the benefit of a vast bank of techniques, methods and learning materials that I have developed and accumulated over the past year will be used in class to pique and maintain your interest. And since I was once a language student too, I would be able to share my personal tips and tricks with you to help you reach whatever goal you have set for yourself - be it being able to wow your friends and family by reciting a poem in the language of Dostoyevski, or impressing your future collegues with the thorough knowledge of Russian current affairs in their mother tongue!

Trusted teacher: 👂 My motto for teaching music: Learn with your ear, before understanding it with your brain. Music can be explained entirely from a theoretical point of view 🤯. But I'm convinced that the best approach is to feel and sing the music 🎤💖, before understanding and interpreting it theoretically. I teach music theory intuitively 💫. More than just a way of reading sheet music, I can show you how to deconstruct a piece of music in any genre, how to interpret chords, and how to improvise simply and effectively. ♯♭♮ About me: • playing the piano for >30 years 🎹 • studied classical music & jazz for 13 years in music schools 🧑🏻‍🏫 • played in a variety of bands, including classical music, jazz, blues, Latin music, rock, pop, cabaret, flamenco and electronic music • languages: 🇬🇧🇩🇪🇫🇷🇪🇸🇮🇹🇵🇹 -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- ------------------ 👂 My motto for music lessons: Learn with your ear before you understand it with your head. Trusted teacher: I am a first class Music graduate from Paul McCartney's Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts where I gained skills in vocal technique, songwriting and performance. I now use these skills as a professional vocalist and solo jazz artist. I have 10+ years of experience teaching which includes leading a children's choir, teaching music to ages 6 months to 10 years at nursery and after school clubs, and extensive one-to-one vocal coaching. My teaching method is different for everyone. Whatever your focus is, be it gaining confidence performing, or wanting to sing that big Beyoncé song, I've been through the same learning process and aim to use my own experiences and lessons I've learnt along the way to help you reach your full potential and achieve your goals. I can help with: • gaining confidence performing and developing various techniques to help with performance anxiety • improving and developing various vocal techniques that will equip you with the skills to sing the songs you want to • helping build a repertoire that suits your voice • expanding your vocal range, and learning techniques to manage your break and weaker areas • improving pitching & ear training • learning how to improvise • developing your own style, helping to make covers your own • learning how to do backing vocals and harmonies • songwriting • preparing you for auditions, performances, recordings and entry exams • basics of piano playing and accompaniment I am fun, friendly, patient and look forward to working with you :)

Violin Lessons for All Levels - Beginner through Conservatory (Steglitz)
Usha
Usha is a world-class violinist and violin teacher! I studied from a young age and through college at a relatively high level, but had to put it down for many years once I started working. Usha has helped me relearn the fundamentals with good habits and regain confidence as a performing artist. I love how creatively she tackles complex problems, and how her violin lessons--though focused on music and technique--seem to involve big life lessons as well. I look forward to continuing to study with Usha!

Guitar lessons (Acoustic and Electric) and music composition (Kreuzberg)
Sam
Sam is an amazing teacher, patient and open to the student's goals and suggestions. His approach is more technical than theoretical but will nonetheless get anyone willing to learn up to speed on the basics into more advanced notions. He assessed what I was already able to do on the guitar to fill the gaps and help me progress into further fields. So far he's taught me the electric guitar, a bit of bass and piano and I'm very happy about all of it.
