Trusted teacher: Hello! I have been teaching classes continuously for more than 10 years and I would like to explain what you can find in a class with me! - To begin with, the most important thing is to know what you want to achieve. I would like to focus the classes according to what you need. For example, we will not put the same level of demand if you want to play for pleasure at home without haste or if you want to do some entrance exams to musical studies (although always with the same good rigor). The needs of each student can vary the methodology, the way of organizing the study sessions, the postural work, the repertoire... - Once we know what we want to achieve and by when, classes will begin in a relaxed atmosphere. Important! Relaxed is not equal to undemanding or rigorous, just that we will try not to resort to military methods, especially given my character and sense of humor ;). - Something important to note is that my methods are very dynamic and with special emphasis on the development of the ear and musicality. No reading, spitting and changing songs. I try to avoid methods that focus too much on the continuous reading of scores without memorizing, listening or understanding what is being done and why, especially so that later you can make your own aesthetic decisions and feel ownership of your performance. Alert! Maybe I'll even make you sing. - Last but not least, it should be noted that given my training (I studied classical music and modern music and jazz at the Taller de Músics) my tendency will be to give the same importance to different types of music. We will adapt to your tastes and needs, but for me we can go from baroque to blues, from blues to Haydn's sonatas, from Haydn to bebop and from bebop to Michael Jackson. Why not? If you like what you have read, do not hesitate to contact me. Learning to play the cello is a pleasure and I would love to share it with you!

Hi, my name is Sam. Do you know many students cant hear music as good as they could read music? No, you dont have to be born with perfect pitch to hear the notes in melodies and harmonies in the music. If you could tell red from orange, blue from indigo, as long as you are not "color-blind" to music (we call tone-deaf), then you can "hear" music too! With the right training of course! Wish to play songs like your favorite Youtubers playing beautiful covers within hours of a new hit single release? Then this class is for you! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Listen & Play Piano - Unlike the conventional "classical" method, this "modern approach" lesson, you'll learn to identify melodies, recognize chords, play different accompaniment styles, improvise (advanced level), and create your own personal style (advanced level). Lessons include: 1. Active Aural Training This is not the usual "classical exam format" aural exercises but practical aural techniques I've learned from my years of stage performance. 2. Chords You will learn chord theory on harmonizing the melody and how to identify them just by listening to music. 3. Contemporary Accompaniment styles This includes my bread-and-butter accompaniment styles I use in playing solo piano or keyboard in a band, and the knowledge I've accumulated over the past 18 years playing in church and band. 4. Music Theory on Pop Music Music theory provides a systematic guide to your hearing so you'll understand what you heard and can even predict the harmony movement in most pop music.

Nice to meet you! I am Julie, a private piano teacher since 2019 for beginners to cycle II. Currently I have 12 students, adults, teenagers and children from 4 years old! My goal is for my students to learn the piano while having fun, so that they become independent over time and can enjoy playing what they like. This is why I listen to everyone's tastes, while opening doors to registers that might not be those immediately thought of (classical, jazz, singing accompaniment, etc.). Also, music theory is a key point of learning that cannot be ignored if you want to progress. But knowing that it can scare more than one, I would like to point out that I do this in a very fun way by adapting to the level of capacity and age of each person: this therefore involves pieces, songs, and for the youngest, games that I make myself (memory, tables, human-sized mats, card games, writing, etc.). This allows us to suit everyone, and learning through all the senses (writing, listening, movement, memorization, etc.) is, in my opinion, a very relevant means. If the student likes singing, I also offer singing lessons and I teach them how to accompany themselves, so that they can ultimately accompany themselves on all the songs and have a lot of fun. My lessons last 1 hour, whether the student is an adult or a child. I can possibly teach at my home if necessary, but I usually go to the student's home. Also, the piano is a rather solo instrument. But loving sharing and conviviality, I offer in addition to solo pieces, pieces in 4 hands between students by level (which is in my opinion very beneficial from a technical and learning point of view). Finally, 2 auditions per year are planned in a nice room that I reserve with a beautiful grand piano, during which the students sing and play their solo and 4-hand pieces in front of their loved ones. These moments are really friendly and without pressure or expectations from me: snacks, music, laughter and sharing are in the spotlight. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate! See you soon, I hope :) Julie

I am a Data Science student at university, currently in my third year, and I have been accepted into a prestigious exchange program at the Universidade de Coimbra, one of the oldest and most renowned universities in Europe. This experience has allowed me to broaden my horizons and strengthen my training in an international environment, enriching my approach to technology. I have obtained honors in the subject Programming Fundamentals 2, which is a reflection of my dedication and programming skills. In addition, I have worked on a number of real-life projects covering various areas of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, such as: Body detection using computer vision Sentiment analysis with real tweets Statistical study of the Airbnb real estate market in New York City Development of an IoT application to monitor sensors in a Data Center Bayesian network modeling for strategic decision making in companies Training an AI model for real-time face and gender detection using a laptop camera Fully Automated Propositional Logic Calculator And best of all, all these projects have been developed entirely in Python, the most in-demand language in the sector. My classes are designed for beginners and intermediate level, where I will guide you step by step to understand the fundamental concepts of programming, the logic behind programming, and how to apply AI to real projects. If you are looking for private lessons in Python, Data Science, or Artificial Intelligence, you are in the right place! Ready to start developing one of the most in-demand skills in today's market?
