I am passionate about both learning and teaching because I have always believed education is the strongest tool. I am not somebody who understands things immediately so when I myself was learning in younger classes and in school, I always had a lot of questions and patiently worked through them. I think this kind of mentality is important when tutoring or mentoring somebody as opposed to criticizing mistakes. In my opinion, the more questions you ask, the better you understand! My teaching method usually includes introducing new theories and topics during our live sessions together and then assigning a few exercises or some homework for you to work on after the class on your own. In the next class, we will then go through your homework and clarify any questions you have. Again the aim is not that I am expecting a 100% on the homework (this could also be what your school gives you every week), but it's so we can work together on what you get stuck on!

My students were always encouraged to take a step further and navigate through the world of piano under my guidance. My lessons are generally from half hour (for young children) to 1/1,5 hours. Depending on the level of the student, the lesson will include solfeggio and notions of musical theory, technique exercises and study of piano repertoire. My experience lies in classical piano repertoire, including Classicism, Baroque, Romanticism and Early Modern. I try to vary the program of my lessons and to choose the repertoire with the students, based on their taste and inclination. My teaching method is very structured and reflects the methodology taught in Conservatories, Music Academies and Universities. It is aimed at creating a solid basis to prepare for exams and auditions as well as giving the instruments for independent study. This type of method is of course suited also for amateur pianists too, who just want to play in their spare time - it will give them the opportunity to check their practice and receive relevant advice. Aside from the technique, participation, passion and fun are also fundamental! I pace each lesson to the needs and the preparation of the students, listen to their requests and choose with them the right path to follow. All my students are always satisfied with the relaxed and inspiring atmosphere of our lessons!
