She has experience teaching for 6 years to a wide range of students; whether you’re a beginner, young professional, preparing for exams, or just want to learn for fun. She has taught people of ages 2-53, believing it is never too late, or early, to start learning. When teaching children, she makes sure to always communicate with both parents and children so everyone is happy with the lessons. Gema has a wide experience teaching adults and is aware of the difficulties of learning a new skill while working full-time, so she makes sure to take each student’s personal circumstances into consideration when planning lessons. She has also taught three different languages: English, Spanish and Chinese, making her an ideal teacher if you want to improve your language skills while learning piano. Trusted teacher: Have you always wanted to learn how to dance but didn't know where to start? Do you have some dancing experience but need to work on your confidence or boost your skills / technique? Come and dance with me! My classes are for adults of any age and ability who want to learn to dance, or for anyone who already has dance experience but wants to explore themselves more as a soloist. I aim to develop your confidence with movement and body awareness throughout our sessions, and also work on your freestyling, skills picking up choreography, or even help you choreograph something of your own if you wish! My personal approach to dance is bringing fun to it! If you don't enjoy yourself, you won't continue to learn. Having fun is key to progressing, and we will get to improve technique and confidence along the way! My sessions are an hour long but 15 mins of those minutes are dedicated to warming up, cooling down and also discussing your day / week and your mental state before we start. This is so we can use the thoughts and feelings of the day as tools for our session to help release tension and boost your energy! The meaty part of the session will focus on some techniques, movement and music exploration and short choreographed combinations.
