ms-tutoring.com I've been tutoring since I was sixteen years old. What started as a small hobby of providing extra-curricular help for some of my IB classmates 10 years ago, has now gradually evolved into a full-time passion of mine that I derive deep fulfilment from. In addition to the joy I feel from the teaching process itself, the fundamental reason I enjoy what I do lies in the mentorship I give to my students, and in providing for them a clarity in perspective, confidence in their own potential, and an unwavering support throughout a time in their life when things feel overwhelming and confusing. Having graduated the IB in 2014 from École Jeannine Manuel in Paris, and endured the gruelling and competitive university selection process, I remember first-hand how much pressure students experience at this critical stage of their academic careers - a time when attaining a particular grade boundary dictates whether or not they'll be able to attend their dream university, and begin the life they've envisioned for themselves. This hyper-fixation on academic performance is often complemented by a collective learning environment that can easily neglect the unique, subtle nuances of each individual's learning style and pace. In wanting to do well, students often find themselves mitigating a teaching approach that, by necessity, prioritises this group environment, and resort to finding their own way through topics & exams - a path they don't need to navigate alone. This is where I can help. Having been in both the student and teacher roles of the academic experience, I've encountered the range of challenges and pitfalls that often lead to unsuccessful outcomes, and, in the worst cases, a misjudgment of our own abilities, and a lowering of our own potential. In distilling my dual experience, I have understood the keystone component that determines where these outcomes fall: Communication. Any form of learning - and teaching - at their core, rely on a verbal, visual and conceptual exchange between people. The problem, however, is that every person's mind operates with its own distinct vocabulary - one that deserves time and attention to be properly understood, and taught towards. Frameworks that may cement an understanding for one individual - be they teacher or pupil - don't automatically translate to another, particularly when these approaches need to be homogenised and streamlined for collective education. My priority as a private tutor is to be as useful to you & your specific needs as possible. In working together, I'll be able to garner a deep understanding of how and why things make sense to you, and integrate my experience and intuition to develop tailored pedagogical strategies that will surgically refine & reframe both your theoretical and examination skillsets.

Denise
Mrs. Denise has demonstrated passion, mastery and, above all, great versatility as a teacher. She has skillfully recaptured the spirit of a Medieval song with imaginative vocal intensity, while discussing in great detail the lyrical content, linguistic nuances, and the historical context of the song, as well as guiding me through the intricacies of the Occitan language with confidence and poise.

Faten
Out 20+ teachers I sent requests to, Faten was one of the few who replied very fast. She understood all the specifics I needed for my son and started immediately helping him to speak although he was not eager at all. She is always reachable, her french is great and she really know a way how to make people speak French! Recommending!

Marko
We have been very happy with Marko's tutoring. My daughter is in an IB school doing DP, she wanted additional help with the more complicated functions. She found Marko easy to understand and was more confident in her maths as a result.
