Trusted teacher: As a violin teacher, my goal is to create a positive learning environment while cultivating the student’s love for music. I believe in developing music-reading as well as ear-training skills in my student’s music education. I work hard to tailor each lesson to meet the individual student’s musical goals, level and learning style. I have experience teaching students from age 3 to adult and from absolute beginner to college-level students. As a conservatory trained violinist, I teach a solid foundation in violin technique, theory and repertoire. I currently maintain a private violin studio in Yokohama and one in my home in Kawasaki. I can teach in both English and Japanese. Learning to play the violin is a lifelong process. Music can lead us to new opportunities, meet interesting people and travel to unique places. Everyone can learn to play the violin. It is never too late to start! I look forward to being a part of you or your child’s musical journey. Trusted teacher: Hi, My name is Haru and I have been teaching Japanese for 15 years now. I am currently teaching 7 students, all foreign nationals living here in Japan. Their Japanese language ability levels range from basic conversational ability all the way up to JLPT level 1. My lesson style is ‘fun but strict’! If you really want to improve your level of Japanese, please try my class! <Daily Conversation・Business Talk > Some people can read and understand Japanese, even very well, but their speaking ability is relatively low. This is often due to a lack of regular speaking opportunities! ​During a 1 on 1 lesson, you can be in a distraction-free environment and do not have to be nervous about making mistakes - I can give you immediate feedback and corrections! <Basic Program> From beginner up to JLPT N1 level, class activities are based on your specific needs. For beginners, we will usually begin by building the foundation of basic grammar.
