He has enough patience and a knack in guiding you step by step through the lessons and exercises in a very simple way to understand them well. He is an invested teacher that is kind and polite. Mrs. Denise has demonstrated passion, mastery and, above all, great versatility as a teacher. She has skillfully recaptured the spirit of a Medieval song with imaginative vocal intensity, while discussing in great detail the lyrical content, linguistic nuances, and the historical context of the song, as well as guiding me through the intricacies of the Occitan language with confidence and poise.

I spent a week with Lina ”learning by living”. We toured Ankara, went to museums, bookstores, bazars, hung out at Lina and Batu's cafe, cooked together, went to Lina's yoga class, etc. And everything we did, at least as long as my brain wasn't exploding from language overload, was accompanied by language instruction. It was absolutely fantastic!
