Trusted teacher: I am a qualified English teacher from England. I obtained my bachelor's degree in linguistics at Lancaster University (UK) and will soon have my master's degree. I have been teaching English for over 3 years to students who wish to improve their English language skills or become bilingual. All my students are satisfied with my course and those who had entrance exams have passed successfully. There is nothing like having English lessons with a qualified English speaker ;-) I have done all my studies in English and in the United Kingdom, I consider English as being my first language among all the other ones I have learned. Being a "native" speaker for me is meaningless, the qualifications are the most important as well as the experience (you could have a "native" speaker who makes a lot of mistakes because this person is not qualified in teaching). The price of the lessons is moderate compared to the effectiveness of my courses. I use a variety of methods and can easily adapt to the needs of the student. I offer courses at all levels (beginner, advanced to university level) as well as English courses for IELTS/TOEFL, A-LEVELS or correction of written works. I have worked with children as well as teenagers and adults. My 3 years of experience as a teacher in England have helped me to develop the qualities necessary to motivate my students and teach them effectively. I can deliver the lessons online anywhere in the world. Do not hesitate to contact me to book a lesson, places are quickly taken. If your desired time slot wouldn't be available, I would do my best to adapt myself to your schedule and I would refer you to some of my colleagues. ;-) Lessons usually last 50 minutes. See you soon!

I can teach you classical violin, folk songs from Greece and Middle East, as well as your favourite pop tunes and tunes of almost any other music genre! Being well classically trained, I can help you build a solid violin technique and prepare you for giving your best during important music occasions such as exams, auditions, concerts etc. Also, being member of pop - oriental bands with concerts around Belgium, France and Greece, having played with several classical and contemporary music ensembles and orchestras, as well as coming from a family of musicians, my lessons are ideal for students who want to learn to be at ease when they eventually make music with others. :) All pieces can be taught either by ear, music scores or BOTH!! Teaching you basic and/or more advanced music theory to facilitate your violin learning if you don't know yet how to read and write music, can be easily done! My personal experience with music psychology and body movement techniques for musicians have enriched my knowledge and teaching skills. Extra attention is given during the lessons to not only help you build a strong and steadfast technique and develop your music ear, but also to acquire a confident presence and attitude for when you play for others! Anne is a teacher that prepares her lessons in advance. You get a lot of attention as a student and I really felt welcomed from the first minute. Anne is very clear in her communication and organisation (and this also encompasses how she guides you towards the first lesson, making sure all is clear). It is clear that she has a profound knowledge of the Japanese language as well as the didactical methods to teach it. What I appreciated was her openness and the fact that you can shape the lessons to make them fit with your personal goals you have for studying Japanese, whatever they might be. I definitely recommend working with Anne!

Last year, at that the time my fiancé and I took waltz lessons from Carl for our wedding dance. It was a challenge to find dance lessons in Brussels because both of us are not Belgian and we don't speak either Dutch, or French. In addition, I am really not that good with rhythm when it comes to pre-set dances. Carl was very patient with us (me) and spoke to us in English. Not only he taught us how to dance waltz but also how to behave on the dancefloor as a couple. Everybody at the wedding was amazed of our waltz skills and they loved our wedding dance.

She is a good teacher for the kids who want to learn English. The class has various activities even on online so that my son keeps his interest. Ophelia reacts nicely every time and I believe this is good motivation which can keep their interests.
