If you are solely interested in speaking, then I recommend Levantine or Gulf dialects. If you aim to master Arabic comprehensively, then Formal Arabic (Fus’ha) would be more suitable. My recommendation for learning the Oud is to begin by studying musical notes and notation before delving into songs. I had my first class with Dmytro and I really enjoyed it. He takes his classes very seriously (he was very punctual, he had indicated to me in advance the apps/tools needed for the class, he was asking if I have questions, he replied very quickly to my messages before the class...). Also, he was very patient with me (I have a low level in chess...). I liked a lot that he was not just explaining "book" theory of chess, but also the practical tricks. I will book a second class. 100% recommended :)

So far, I have had two sessions with Hamid and the experience has been pleasant. I find that Hamid was well prepared before the classes began. He made his own notes, schedule and was very organised with his approach as a tutor. Professional, clear about his teaching methods etc,. As a tutor, he is very patient and explains everything with a simple and understandable analogies. I am happy with his teaching and hopefully will continue to do so. Highly recommended.
