Mr. Mac grew up in Georgia (U.S.A.) and joined the U.S. Army after high school. He spent over five years in the military with assignments in Germany and the middle east. He completed his Bachelor's degree while in the Army and transitioned from the military into the classroom, joining Teach for America. The organization trained members to teach in disadvantaged schools in an effort to equalize access to a quality education throughout the United States. Mr. Mac has worked as a primary school teacher at a bilingual school in Wiesbaden since 2019. He has been a class teacher and taught most elementary school subjects to include English, Math, Science, Art, and Physical Education. His goal with the Glue Club is to create a unique after-school environment where children from every culture and socioeconomic background feel welcomed as part of a family of lifelong friends. Mr. Mac enjoys reading novels, non-fiction history, biographical, and philosophy books. He grew up playing and loving to follow baseball and American football. I booked a daily 90 minutes class for my son Nicolo' (16 years old) for 2 weeks. He was an absolute beginner and usually has a very limited enthusiasm for "extra-classes". Lucia was absolutely fantastic. She made the magic of creating a learning environment that was fun, friendly and effective at the same time. My son Nicolo' was so enthusiastic about the classed to the point that I could not believe it when he asked me to do more classes with Lucia after the 2 weeks. Lucia was good to teach with real life situation and not in an academic way. She was very good in explaining difficult concept in an easy way. Lucia is a very competent teacher and a trusted professional. I would recommend her to anyone.

The current ratings and reviews speak for themselves. Most are 5-star reviews, with a few 4-star reviews and none at a lower rating. She is an amazing teacher with more than a decade of experience. Who truly knows how to tailor a programme to each individual student. In 3 weeks, I've grown from knowing close to no grammar to being able to form proper sentences for everyday use. One aspect I value a lot about her way of teaching is that we apply the grammar not only to every-day situations but also to topics that tailor to my personal life circumstances. I have been convinced that, with the help of Marina, I will be able to grow my Mandarin skills exponentially over the next few months.

It is always a pleasure to meet Phil for our weekly online French classes. He is a patient and kind teacher and always full of energy for our class. Phil is interested in a wide range of topics, so we always have something to talk about based on an article he selected as 'homework'. What I really appreciate about his way of teaching is that he corrects me during our conversation without breaking the flow of our talk, so I can really feel my confidence in speaking French increasing each class. I woulf highly recommend Phil if you are looking for a French tutor :)
