You can play any genre and alone or in huge groups, only your imagination can set the limits. As a cello teacher, my mission with my cello school is to create an interest in my students and give the knowledge of learning how to learn. I want every student that has a lesson with me get the value of learning and create lifelong interest for the cello. The cellist life is filled with community, friendship, history Not only the skill to play but the interest to do so through the whole life. The skills you learn with your instrument is also transparent to other parts of your life. Nobody ever said I regret that I learned to play the cello. In 2017, I was awarded a full scholarship to study for a Diploma in Music at SEGi College Subang Jaya, Malaysia, where I expanded my skills in classical singing and violin. I later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Studies with First Class Honours from the Royal Irish Academy of Music, accredited by Trinity College Dublin, followed by a Master’s degree in Opera and Music Performance from the Conservatorium Maastricht, graduating with cum laude. With 17 years of teaching experience, I have guided students of all levels—from beginners to aspiring professionals. Some of my students have been accepted into prestigious music colleges with full scholarships, while others have passed their piano and singing exams with distinction. I understand that not every student enjoys music lessons at first, and I take the time to communicate with both students and parents to find the best approach for each individual. My goal is to create a positive, engaging learning environment where students not only improve their musical skills but also develop confidence, creativity, and a love for music. Trusted teacher: Hello, My name is Irina and I have been working as a professional opera singer and a singing teacher for over ten years. I recently moved from London to Maastricht where I live now with my husband and our 5 year old son. I studied at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester and the Royal Academy of Music in London. I hold an Advanced Diploma in Opera, which is the highest qualification level (Level 8) in the UK Qualifications Framework. I performed in many prestigious venues in the UK, including Royal Albert Hall, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Barbican, and St.Martin-in-the-Fields. I worked with Nelly Miricioiu, Jane Glover, Vladimir Jurowski, Robin Ticciati, Stéphane Denève, and many other renowned coaches and conductors. I am currently part of the Limburg Education Tour project 'Weltatem', which is a collaboration between Het Geluid Maastricht (Romy Roelofsen and Gable Roelofsen) and Kirsten Schötteldreier. Alongside my performing career, I also have been teaching singing. I am very passionate about teaching and I believe that music, whether it is listening to a concert, playing the guitar, or singing in the shower, is good for both our mental and physical well-being. It helps us to become more self-confident, find out more about how we can use our whole body as an instrument, to express and channel our feelings, and also to relax. It is never too early or late to start. Whatever your ability, aspiration, and age is, I am happy to explore with you both classical music and musical theatre. Nick's approach is patient and thorough, informative and imaginative as well. He always comes up with his own examples in order to test my knowledge on a given exercise and helps me get to the answer at my own pace, rather than handing it to me. He doesn't use a one-size-fits-all method, but rather tailors his lesson in order to get out my full potential, even in a field I find difficult. He makes himself available for additional questions and is overall great to work with!

I had my first lesson with Sandro and it's clear that he's a professional. I'm self taught on guitar but have had a lot of experience with music teachers for other instruments and for theory. I had some ideas about the things I was doing wrong on guitar and without telling him about them, he was able to pinpoint them really fast and also give really good tips and exercises. He knows what he's doing and is able to help really well. Definitely recommend!

Yu-Ya is an excellent teacher. She is nice, patient, and enthusiastic. She chose the pieces according to my level and interests, and she made the practice plan to strengthen my weaknesses. The most impressive part is she pointed out my blindspot and tried different methods to work on my terrible sense of tempo, which works very well. Highly recommended!
