Trusted teacher: Hello there! My name is Vasilis and I am a jazz/rock/eastern traditional and classical guitar player, singer and songwriter currently studying as a 3rd year student in the Jazz and Pop guitar department of HKU conservatory. I am coming from Greece where I graduated from my first bachelor on classical guitar and the last three years I live, study, work and play in Utrecht. My teaching career started very early, 12 years ago when my classical guitar teacher let me teach my first student and since then I have worked in multiple music schools and in private lessons with students of every age. This year I also started giving my first band coaching group lessons. In my lessons I try to create a learning path that is formed arround the interests and taste of each student. Since I am a singer and songwriter the lessons can also focus on the creating part of music if of course the student is interested in that. I work with empathy and sensitivity arround the needs of each student. As for my playing career, I play with multiple bands on original songs of mine or covers in different venues and festivals in Europe. The genres differ between pop, jazz, rock, eastern traditional and blues so I can give a big variety of stylistic directions to each student. Last but not least, I am also a singer and because of my good performance in school, I was awarded from the HKU Conservatory the oportunity to follow the vocal curriculum of the school as well. So I can help you with singing too!

I have been working with Pakshal for quite some time now and i have only been improving. He is a very well educated and structured teacher. When something is not clear he does not move on until I understand that point very well. He always has different ways of approach to a specific math problem and he has different ways to solve each. When explaining a solution, he usually explains in different ways that would make it easier to understand. That includes using real life examples. Pakshal is very flexible as well, we are always able to schedule during good times and whenever there is am emergency, we are able to reschedule without any issues. He is a very passionate teacher. He is also a great friend when needed! Definitely recommend him!
