Trusted teacher: I am a native American English speaking instructor, editor, and journalist from Florida specializing in teaching, instruction, exam prep, and text correction for a wide range of professionals & students across Belgium. Approaching from a true native's perspective, I instruct and assist with both educational and business English in a multi-faceted nature covering a wide range of areas including comprehension, conversation, grammar, and situational skills, in addition to working on general language skills and accent training. My past & present clients have included: professionals from all four major EU institutions, the Belgian government, various NGOs, and musicians, journalists, engineers, as well as a variety of other professions in addition to traditional students. As well, I can provide extensive help and training with the EPSO, IELTS, and TOEFL exams. I have also written, edited or proofread a variety of academic papers, theses, applications, CVs, and other documents for numerous satisfied academic and professional clients. I have spent my entire childhood and adult life in the United States before completing a master's degree in Political Science and European Politics at KU Leuven. I have an extensive knowledge and experience of English grammar and literature, as well as current and past working experience in journalism (Anti-Competition Law and European Policy at the Policy and Regulatory Report) and both European and American politics. I also handle correction of text, editing, proofreading and ghostwriting, with weekly and monthly rates possible. My transportation costs are included.

Hello, my name is Nicoletta and I am a certified native English tutor from the small island of Cyprus. However, both my parents have British roots and I have grown up speaking English as my primary language. As a person who has always been interested in other countries and cultures, I have embarked on learning new languages myself in the last few years. Most recently Korean! Doing this, I realised how important it is to have someone guide you and support you on your language learning journey. I hope to be that person for you, to aid you and support you with your experience of the English language. My classes for adults cover: Pronunciation Comprehension (listening and reading) Conversational English (e.g., hobbies, travel, nature, social media, culture, and more.) Functional English (e.g., at the supermarket, at the doctor's, at a hotel, at a restaurant, and more.) Grammar Exam preparation (IELTS and TOEFL) Idioms Writing Business English My classes for children cover: Vocabulary (e.g., daily routines, animals, hobbies, sports, family, jobs, food, emotions, weather, and more). Comprehension (listening and reading) Pronunciation Basic grammar Games (e.g., wordsearches, spot the difference, guessing games, and more.) Exam preparation (IELTS and TOEFL) I believe in tailoring each lesson to meet the students needs. I believe that the student is the most important person in any lesson and that the teacher should focus their material on the students’ goals, interests, and aspirations.

My name is Anita, and I am an interdisciplinary neurodivergent artist. I combine traditional and unconventional teaching methods with an innovative approach, adapted to the fast-paced era we live in, where attention spans can be short. My teaching integrates principles of psychology to better understand each student’s unique needs and aspirations. My goal is to nurture visionary children who have strong foundational values and a humble sense of self. I believe that true artistic mastery comes from human excellence. Also, in this way, students develop true self-confidence by evaluating their success based on personal progress rather than comparing themselves to others. This course is especially recommended for neurodivergent children (with Autism Level 1 - Asperger's Syndrome, ADHD, OCD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Hypersensitivity, and Anxiety) with multiple interests who struggle to choose, focus on, and manage various subjects. It helps develop both technique and discipline, enabling them to navigate multiple creative fields—essentially putting their eggs in several baskets while honing the skills necessary for diverse career opportunities in an uncertain job market. The program encourages a generalist mindset, promoting versatility without compromising creative integrity. Students will learn to refine their Zoom In/Zoom Out perspective, gaining the ability to see both the bigger picture and the finer details of any subject. The program's structure guides the individuals through three essential phases: Exploration Phase–Presentations, visual games, and foundational lessons introduce students to various disciplines, helping them discover their interests. Development Phase–They start defining their creative goals, practicing their skills, and trying out various artistic approaches. Mastery Phase - With a clear direction, students focus on long-term goals, whether as brand-focused professionals, university students, or future educators. Disciplines covered include architecture, painting, illustration, concept design (especially for gaming), animation, digital art, children's book illustration, film, writing, and music (singing & songwriting). A Purposeful, Transparent Approach I work closely with each student, providing honest yet supportive evaluations to help identify their strengths. My goal is to guide serious and passionate learners and not to mislead families into unnecessary expenses. I strive to be straightforward in a respectful and encouraging manner, communicating if a child may not be suited for this path. A Valuable Investment in Thinking & Creativity Even if a student ultimately chooses a non-artistic career, this course fosters critical and creative thinking, which are essential skills for any field. The knowledge gained here is never wasted; it’s an investment in adaptability, innovation, and problem-solving abilities that transcend the arts.

Justin
Justin is a true professional and is really gifted at helping job seekers in their career path. He assisted me a lot with career advice, job application adaptation and proofreading. He is really good at communication, reading between the lines, and highlighting the core idea. Our lessons or as I would rather call it a master class, were absolutely great and easy going. Thank you very much, Justin, for your amazing approach, custom-made professional and easy attitude, and a super international mindset. I would very much recommend it!

Benson
After my first lesson with Benson, i have felt more confidence in my skills with chemistry than i have in many years. Where I previously felt very subconscious and unable to answer questions, i have now been able to answer difficult IB exams questions with ease. Benson provided me a safe and comfortable environment which has left me excited for my next class at school to show what i have learned with a fresh confidence! I highly recommend this tutor to anyone who struggles with confidence in both themselves and their subjects.

Carlos
Carlos is an amazing teacher! I have learned more studying with him in a few months then I have learned in a year with other teachers. He is patient, knowledgeable and organized. We have good conversations and he really knows how to activate the language and give confidence to his students. For more basic students like myself it's very useful that he can speak other languages so well, although we use mostly Spanish in our lessons. He is simply the best! I highly recommend Carlos as a teacher!
