Trusted teacher: PIANO Foundation First we start with the music theory, melody and chords. These are the essential building blocks for making music. Style Next we apply stylistic tools to bring the music to life. This could include jazz chords, blues riffs, walking bass lines, and more. skills We learn the skills (soloing, ear training, accompaniment, improvisation, lead sheets, analysis...) Following this approach, you will finally understand the music that you are playing, and you will be able to apply the techniques to hundreds of other songs. CVT COACHING Hi! I am Tine, a singer, voice teacher and vocal coach. I am passionate about helping singers to make the most of their singing practice so they can thrive, grow, and become the powerful performers and communicators the world needs today. I can help you train your voice and keep it healthy, develop your own unique sound, sing across different styles, manage performance anxiety, be authentic on stage, deliver powerful presentations, make more efficient goals and help you reach them. It is possible to create all the sounds from all the styles / genres in a healthy way! CVT METHOD? Singing is not that difficult and everybody can learn to sing. CVT divideds the singing techniques into four main subjects. By combining elements of these four subjects, you can produce precisely the sounds you want. You will also be able to pinpoint your specific problems and mistakes, and you can focus on which techniques you wish to work on. The four main subjects are: The three overall principles – to ensure healthy sound production The four vocal modes – to choose the 'gear' you want to sing in. Sound colors – to make the sound lighter or darker. Effects – to achieve specific sound effects.

Dirk - Ghent£37
Trusted teacher: The (viola da) gamba is a bowed string instrument that was popular from the mid-16th to the mid-18th century. Like the recorder, the instrument comes in a variety of sizes, from small instruments in the register of the violin to large double bass ones. The best known and most commonly used type is the bass viol. The bass viol can best be described as a cross between a cello and a guitar: the tuning and left hand technique are close to the guitar, but playing position and bowing are reminiscent of the cello. Film buffs know the instrument from the movie 'Tous les Matins du Monde' in which the gamba music of Ste. Colombe and Marin Marais is central. The instrument is also known through the passions of JS Bach, in which it plays a prominent role. But the instrument also has a rich and diverse repertoire, ranging from late renaissance to early classical and an increasing number of contemporary pieces. I studied gamba at the royal conservatory in The Hague with Wieland Kuijken. In the meantime I have about 30 years of experience in giving gamba lessons to children, young people and adults, ranging from absolute beginners to advanced players. In addition to the technique and the interpretation of the music on the instrument, I also offer support in the field of music theory and the historical context of the music. In addition to private lessons, I also teach gamba at music academy 'De Poel' in Ghent, the Municipal Conservatory of Bruges and KASK & Conservatory of Ghent.

Trusted teacher: We give guitar lessons to people of all ages and levels. Beginning guitarists learn to develop their musical talents step by step, advanced guitarists sharpen their skills by taking on new challenges. With us you will receive pleasant and varied guitar lessons, always adapted to your personal wishes and possibilities. Children from the age of 5 are introduced to the instrument in a playful way and learn to play their first pieces using simple songs and clapping games. Students who are a little older are introduced to the secret language of music and learn the solfeggio they need for the pieces while doing so. Adults are of course also welcome, with or without prior knowledge of solfège. Every musician has his own learning path and can benefit from ensemble playing, perhaps as part of a duo, quartet or large orchestral group if the student wants it. At Mezzo we also know that each of our students has a strong individualistic learning style, that they respond to different instruction styles and study rates. That is why each of our students has direct access to their own time with their core instructor, so that no one is left behind or does not reach the full potential. Mezzo has a wide selection of programs to choose from. Mezzo wants to offer a customized program to each student. Take customized lessons and teachers with a passion for music, and you have a first-class facility that not only offers an ideal learning environment, but also an excellent opportunity to learn how to play an instrument with them. Mezzo is determined to help every student. We use a flexible approach to education. Although we understand that some students grow under a more structured arrangement, we also recognize that others do better when they are allowed to create their own routine. You only need to be physically present for rehearsals and lessons. Mezzo is a people-oriented institute with a focus on first class education and knowledge needed for exceptional performance. By stimulating the students to use the resources provided, we also stimulate a network that extends far beyond graduation. From helping with the recruitment process to working out a career path.

Cristinela
Cistinela is a passionate and enthusiastic teacher. She had material prepared for our first lesson but as I had a lot of specific questions, she provided detailed answers and we took it from there. Satisfied with our first class, I got what I wanted from it.
