Amelie - Seoul£22
Trusted teacher: Hi, my name is Amélie, I'm French, from the North of France. For the past 9 years I lived in Montreal, in the beautiful province of Québec in Canada and I recently moved to Seoul. So if you are interested in the Canadian culture, I'll be happy to teach you ;) I have been teaching French online for few years now from beginners to advanced and helped some students prepare for the TEF/DELF exams. My main goal is to help you achieve your own learning goals. So the class is really custom made, according to your needs and adapted to your level, whether you want to focus on conversation, grammar practice, listening or reading comprehension, it will also be adapted to your interests. All types of material will be available, like newspaper articles, novels, TV series, youtube video etc.. We will really work according to theme that you enjoy. Because learning a language should not be a burden but on the contrary be a fun time. I know exactly what it's like to learn a new language, the difficulties that you can encounter, all the efforts that are required, but also the fear of talking to people in the beginning, having myself learn English and Spanish to reach a proficiency level. And I've also been learning Korean for the past 3 years now. Also, since I have some experience in language learning, in addition to our classes, that are either once or several times a week, I definitely recommend self-study. So if you're down, I will give you writing and reading exercises to do, regardless of the level you are at, and I will correct those and we can discuss together at the beginning of each class. I promess i'll make it fun. A bientôt :)

Christina - Kowloon£37
Trusted teacher: About the teacher: First, Professional. Holding a Master in Music post-graduate degree, the teacher has been teaching piano lessons professionally for 17 years. She has a solid theoretical foundation in music teaching, composition, and piano performance. Second, a kind attitude with patience, as well as a proper method for different levels of students. She has taught students who easily pass ABRSM grade 8. She also possesses excellent patience with young kids under the age of six. During the last ten years, her goal has been to solve an important issue: how to make students interested in piano playing. Most kids who learn the piano would give up before or during their teenage time. However, 99% of them regret it when they grow up. In Christina's lesson, she will acknowledge to the students and parents clearly what difficulties they will face during the process of music learning. It's more important that students learn to develop a good habit, a worthwhile hobby, and the perseverance that will benefit their whole life. About the class: Different students may require different class lengths. For a child under the age of six, the teacher recommends less time for each class but a higher frequency. Kids who took the piano class twice a week and half an hour each class usually progress faster than those who took it once a week. For kids who practice longer time, it is also advised to take the course longer time. A child who practices two hours a day could play Beethoven's Fur Elise within one year, but for a child who practices less than half an hour per day, this goal may take more than four years to reach. For adults who have greater self-control, it is advised to take the class for a longer time per class but with less frequency.

Korean Language Lessons for Beginners (alphabet/vocabulary/grammar/...) (Genk)
Severine
In my head (only there just there) I already know a lot of Korean words. But when I try to talk I can't make 1 sentence out of it. That's why I wanted private lesson. What I really like about Severine is that she is very patient, she keeps up with my pace. Once I understand the material I'd like to move on, Palli Palli! She is a good explainer and because of that I'm feeling more and more confidence to talk (and write) in Korean. I already can Write my name in the sand, but soon I will be able to... Talk to myself for hours.. ..Say things that You WILL understand ;)

Math and Physics Tutoring(IGCSE, EJU Math 1 and 2, EJU Physics, IB, Algebra, Precalculus, Calculus) (Osaka)
Rudi
Rudi assisted my 15 year old son with Geometry on two occasions now. Strong points are as following: very well organised, good command of the subject, very efficient with time, which is not trivial. Well set up for online lessons. Rudi is not big on small / pep talk which may put off some people but my son finds Rudi very helpful. I would recommend for young / older teens who have at least basic independent study skills.

Math, English, and Test Prep Tutoring (SAT, GRE, and TOEFL) (Taichung)
Alan
Alan is a very friendly and knowledgeable teacher. He was always understanding and worked with me on my weak areas to improve my SAT score. Alan helped me score above my target score in both math and English. He provided his own material and took the time to work on assignments that were unclear even outside of our class so as not to prolong the class. I highly recommend Alan as a tutor and am very glad I found him.
