My students have had many successful results for ABRSM exams, high school scholarship auditions and local music competitions. I have been teaching theory grades 1-5 for since 2018, with some students achieving distinction level results. I teach internationally via Skype with students in the UK, Denmark, Sweden, and the USA. I have a Masters of Music from Trinity Laban College of Music and Dance (London), studying under Roger Chase, and a Masters in Fine Art from Gothenburg University (Sweden) with Øvyor Volle (Vertavo Quartet). I also studied in the USA at the Manhattan School of Music, New York, and Chicago College of Performing Arts. It is always a pleasure to meet Phil for our weekly online French classes. He is a patient and kind teacher and always full of energy for our class. Phil is interested in a wide range of topics, so we always have something to talk about based on an article he selected as 'homework'. What I really appreciate about his way of teaching is that he corrects me during our conversation without breaking the flow of our talk, so I can really feel my confidence in speaking French increasing each class. I woulf highly recommend Phil if you are looking for a French tutor :)

I enjoyed the lesson very much and I improved a lot after all of the helpful tips and rudiments. Helped me enjoy and appreciate the drums so much more now that I can play for myself. Even after just the first lesson I felt that I was much better and I could play with music. Would truly recommend.
