I love reading books, taking photographs, traveling, writing, translating books, and learning foreign languages. I am a graduate of Boğaziçi University. I completed my master's degree in two different fields. I am currently a doctoral student. I have been a private teacher for 25 years. I worked as an English instructor at a public and a private university. I lived and taught English in England, Canada and South Korea. I teach English by developing a special program for you, using different documents, motivating you and making you love it. I do my job with great pleasure. I am interested in literature, Western and Eastern philosophies, theology, cinema, photography and music. I teach without getting bored and by making people love it. But I am a disciplined teacher who gives homework and follows up on it. :) In language learning, the student's liking his teacher and enjoying his work, learning without getting bored and having fun in a comfortable and peaceful environment increases his study efficiency. Maria

Maria is an excellent teacher who can adapt her teaching style according to her student. My daughter and I both had lessons with her and we both found the lessons both enjoyable and challenging. We both feel we made progress. My daughter has had several tutors over the years and thinks Maria is, for her, perfect. She makes the lessons fun while having a structure and aim for each lesson so progress is always made.
